Brisbane Australia Zoo Excursion Reviews

Brisbane Australia Zoo cruise excursion
Overall Rating
Spend the day at Australia Zoo, home of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, to get up close and personal with snakes, beautiful birds, tortoises and, of course, some Brisbane crocodiles.

Tour to Australia zoo was ok, but was hurried from the get go. Upon arrival at the zoo we were told we had 2 hrs to take in the sights before we were off to Montville, then sightseeing of the glasshouse mountains from a high point. All day tour cost $200 pp and in my opinion didn't provide good value for what we received.

A really nice bus trip out to the zoo, which is about an hour. The zoo itself is fantastic, and probably the best we have ever see. Lots of croc's and other critters. Good show as well. Booked through the ship is very expensive as well, and once again in $US. Come on RCL, how about charging AUD when in Australia!

Not to be rude to Brisbane but I think Port Dougas would be a better port to stop at. Saying that we had a great day at the Zoo.

Most of the enclosures for the birds were too small, however, it was nice to see the kangaroos and emus running free
