Hamilton Horseshoe Bay Beach Excursion Reviews
Horseshoe Bay was beautiful, clear water, go to the left side for private lagoons and cave paths, we had an absolute blast.
Second visit - always beautiful. No need to book excursion, get the transportation pass and the bus drops you off.
Since this was our second time to Hamilton we decided the price for NCl to book it was way over priced and we had found the public bus that took us there for a fraction of the price. The only problem with that is there is a big hill down to the beach so if you have small children or elderly who have difficult time walking think about the end of the day and having to walk back up. My mom traveled with us and at the end of the day we took a cab back because to walk back up the hill to the bus was to much for her to do. No bug deal!
Beach is beautiful, but crowded. Walk to the left past the rocks for more privacy. However, if you do go past the rocks be reminded that there isn't a lifeguard.
Travelled there using local bus, which took a while to get there, and found it VERY crowded. The water was full of floating seaweed and the sand was NOT pink!
The next day, we went to Elbow Beach, also by local transportation, and found it less crowded and the water was cleaner, but the beach sand was not as nice as it could be!
