A charming town, and it was great that our small ship could dock right in the port. But we had an older woman as guide, and she had difficulty herding the cruise group - complicated by the fact that there ship did not provide an escort.

You are taken to an old church,to a fishing village and to a scenic overlook which allows you to see the ship at anchor and the town of Visby. The wildflowers were everywhere and the island is really pretty. The town is nice and very picturesque. My favorite port. You also do a walking tour of the town. You have to tender at this port and shore excursions get off the ship first. Plenty of time for shopping after. Read Less
