It was the only let down for the entire trip. The guide was friendly but she wanted to talk about her own family rather than the surroundings. We wasted a lot of time waiting around for people in Cambados when we could have had time to explore. The guide wasn't well organised.

Visited an interesting little town where we ate octopus (not knowing what we were ordering because no one spoke English) before heading on to the winery. Lovely countryside and much fun at the winery sampling different tastes. Even bought a bottle to bring back to the ship.

Bus ride straight to the vineyard where they give some history of the grapes and manufacturing process, then on to a wine tasting upstairs. There is a small lift, but it wasn't working the day we were there due to a power outage. From there we went to Cambadas, where we had some free time to get lunch, then a scenic coast drive back to Vigo.

Tour was set up and organized by a fellow cruiser. Very well done and the tour was exactly as described. 18 passenger van with a/c. Our guide was tour operator/owner Anna Paula Nascimento who worked with our organizer to set up for 3 additional van tours with similar itinerary and cost as we had quite a number of people wishing to participate. Highly recommend this company and private excursion.

The trip in the bus with the helpful guide was interesting. However the bodega we visited did not produce especially good wine. The second visit to the Parador was a great disappointment. The tapas comprised potato omelette and little else, not really tapas at all.
