Not bad, but we were expecting the views from the train to be a bit more spectacular. Soller was quaint.

In Soller there is a Museo Modernisto not to be missed if you like Miro, Klee, etc. Small but highly important collection, nicely curated in a nice building on a quiet street. Be sure to ask the guide where it is. We were the only ones to go. After there was a quaint train ride on a completely wooden train from early 1900's that cuts through the mountain.

This was amazing! We did the "Soller by Train" tour - fantastic! We were bused to the train station - which has this cute little bar while you're waiting. The train trip was wonderful - you pass through these amazing views. Once you get to Soller - you have time to explore this quaint little town and then are bussed back to port. As with all of the tours - we wished we had a little more time in Soller - it was only around 40-45 minutes. But so glad we went - we loved the area!

Beautiful island, scary hairpin turns, impressive driver. Tour was very interesting, our guide, Luisa was very informative. Don't know if this is even possible but we would have like more time in Valldemossa. It is a charming town with lovely little shops, which we really had no time to tour. The tram ride from Port of Soller to Soller was cute but Soller was not nearly as tempting as Valldemossa. It was in Soller that we were given some time to wander but we just used it to eat lunch. I did suggest to the tour company that they reverse the order of the tour. It was a little disappointing that the itinerary seemed to indicate a little more tour time in Palma itself.

Great tour of Palma, There were about 15 people on a minibus. The one big problem we had was finding the meeting point. The directions said we could walk there when in fact we figured out that we had to take a taxi that cost an additional 11 euro and we know we were ripped off as it was only a few miles. They need to change the directions or meet at the ship. They were able to drop us at the ship. The guide was very knowledgable. Enjoyed the ride through the almond and olive orchards to Valdemosa. Cute old little town with nice little cafes for tasting the local pastry/bun. Lots of history. We then traveled along the mountainside to Soller. Very cute and quiet seaside town lots of cafes. My parents wanted to come back to Soller for vacation.

We took a walk through Soller and I still don't know how no one got killed on the way! The sidewalks are single-file wide in several areas, and there were many cars trying to navigate the narrow streets at the same time. We took the train from Soller and it is totally forgettable. I wouldn't recommend this one.
