This was by far our best tour on this cruise... Our guide was engaging and knowledgable and gave us plenty of time at each stop. We visited a vineyard and sampled some wine, observed 3 demonstrations regarding the tremendous heat of the ground and had a really good excursion around Timanfaya National Park.

This was a must-see attraction. At the Mountain of Fire, we got to feel hot hot the sand was, saw straws being ignited by the volanic heat and chicken and potato being barbaqued over the volcanic vent. We then drove up and down the mountain and took many great photo of the barren landscape. Lastly we visited a winery.

We had a $10, 10 minute scheduled bus which dropped us near the centre of town. Which was value for money.
