Just spectacular. Our first cruise and how fantastic was this! Without question the service was so good, so authentic, personal and kind. Everyone remembered your name. Everyone was engaging and not in a hurry. The table service was so excellent .. never rushed, never slow. The somilier quickly figured our wine preferences out ... and was always able to find something that was ...

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seabourn Odyssey

I used critic extensively to research cruises and thought I’d give back as Ive been on 12+ cruises,3 in the past year. We booked the Odyssey fairly last minute. We’re from the Vancouver area and decided to go about a month in advance. We’re casual, outdoorsy people and thought Seabourn might be a good fit, we were not wrong. We were a little frustrated with the port of Vancouver experience,it ...

Adventure and luxury in Alaska

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seabourn Odyssey

Most Alaska cruises are 7 day affairs with stops at a glacier, Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan. Been there, done that. We chose a 14 day itinerary that included the normal ports plus much more. Some examples: a fantastic excursion to watch bears fishing for salmon. A zodiac at the nature-rich Inian Islands (humpbacks, sea lions, otters, eagles). Zodiac from the ship up to Dawes Glacier; icebergs ...

I just turn 60 and I have sailed in more than 40 voyages at this point , my last 4 cruises have been with Seabourn in various ship , making the Quest my second time in Amazonas Br. , In this case was from Venice / Fusina , so I may warn you about this port for embark with Seabourn , unfortunately this por lacks glamour of your in Venice experience for departure , it was a mystery for weeks on ...

Great cruise on The Quest

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Quest

Just off Quest following a 10 day cruise in the Adriatic. My wife and I had our two boys (ages 15 and 17) with us. We’ve had only one previous experience on Seabourn when my wife and I went on a cruise to Greece 12 years ago. I always try to do a fair amount of research prior to departure and therefore I had read a lot of the recent negative reviews. I have to say that for us we had the best ...

Excellent Cruise on Encore

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Encore

This cruise was excellent in all aspects. It is not often that you can say that!!! Everything from embarkation, all veranda suites, on-board service, restaurant and entertainment was five-star. This, our first cruise with Seabourn, was a seven-day cruise from Piraeus to Istanbul. One of the benefits of a smaller ship, with fewer than 600 passengers, is that there are no separate restaurant ...

Caution: Seabourn Quest not up to par

We've sailed Seabourn 5 times and this was our first since the pandemic. A DISAPPOINTMENT. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO PRIOR SAILINGS. Don’t charge full prices for over 1/2 staff still brand new 30k for an 11 day cruise with this many issues no thanks Pros: Size of ship we still like Location of PH suite on deck 10, very quiet -although view blocked PH1025 Keller restaurant still ...

Around the Arctic in Style

Review for a Arctic Cruise on Seabourn Venture

User Avatar

First thing to realize is that the Venture is an expedition ship. It does not offer a “sit by the pool and sip pina coladas” type experience. What it does offer is exciting, off the beaten path itineraries, education and adventures under the guidance of a highly qualified expedition staff. Most voyages are about two weeks, and the ship is small carrying about 225. There were about 150 on our trip. ...

Impeccable Service

Review for a Arctic Cruise on Seabourn Ovation

User Avatar

This was a 14 day cruise that left From Copenhagen, circumnavigated Iceland and returned to Copenhagen. We have been on Seabourn at least 6 times and this was our second time on the Ovation. We like the larger size, compared to the 3 older and smaller ships, which is most noticeable in the Thomas Keller restaurant and bar. We were told there were only about 325 passengers, and the captain said ...
