Silversea positions and prices itself at the top end of the market. We expected it to be good all of the time rather than most of the time.
Our cabin butler was outstanding which was certainly a big plus.
Restaurants usually but not always good and a couple of times particularly slow for no obvious reason. Sometimes thought the staff would have like to have been elsewhere!

Check in line was long and hot, Had to retrieve our own luggage from hallway, 20 doors down, Duct taped hair dryer and tiny showers...must share 1 wifi per room unless want to purchase another, large emphasis on 180 day cruise and booking again, no compensation for 2 cancelled ports due to weather...(even $50 onboard credit would have been nice)..educational presentations were limited to geology ...

Part of a holiday which visited Golden Triangle in India before joining QM2 back to Southampton. First time on this ship. Last Cunard cruise was QE2 just before it went out of service.

We have sailed many lines and Cunard definately has a different feel to the American lines despite US$s used onboard and US owned. There was not the constanr push to buy packages and alcohol was even allowed to be brought onboard but only for cabin use. The so called formal nights started at 10pm. We chose the cruise because of the itinerary. Unfortunately, a number of people became ill early on and we were on red alert for 9 days! Not the fault of the cruise line, who handled the problem extremely well, but it didn't help with the overall enjoyment of the cruise.

I was only on the Arcadia for a 3 day trip Syd to Bris.
Solo traveller paid $1000 for 3 nights in deluxe balcony cabin.
Cabin was nice, although I really had to twist the Steward's arm to
