We were on the ship for 2 weeks and it flew by. The ship itself, all the options for dining, entertainment, luxurious accommodations, cruise amenities, included and extra excursions, outstanding crew & excellent service were amazing. We were blown away by all Viking had to offer. This was our first cruise and it was so fabulous, we booked another river cruise for 2026. We are now spoiled and ...
Our cruise was amazing. Everything Viking does from how immaculate the ship and rooms are to the free excursions in every port are top notch. Because of the Mar's size and the much lower amount of passengers it can accompany we never felt crowded anywhere on the ship. There were so many places onboard inside and out to have quiet time to yourself. The ship's crew were all very polite and provided ...
Excellent cruise from Rio to Lisbon. Very friendly staff. Atmosphere is upscale-casual: Few men wore sport jackets at any time. Ship was about 3/4 full, with almost all passengers being in their fifties and up. There were no children. Large mix of nationalities (US, UK, Canada, Australia, etc.). It got a bit rocky towards the end of the cruise and the captain chose to skip the Madeira port of ...
To be honest I did worry about having an inside cabin on a 17 day transatlantic cruise. BUT I was so wrong to even think that I felt like royalty the staff I must mention their names ! Yatish, squid and anchor bar service amazing happy to always help always remembered my name and cabin also Jacinto same bar always so helpful, Angela in the really lovely more personal nonnas restaurant once again ...
This was my 15th Princess cruise and the best yet in terms of the ship itself. The ports of Azores, Madeira, Casablanca, Cadiz and Lisbon were fine but not trip highlights for me. Note: if one of your main concerns is the main dining room or the specialty restaurants, look elsewhere as I no longer go there on any cruise.
The ship is beautiful. The whole boarding process from being bused ...
Writing as I go, so the review might seem choppy.
I enjoyed my sun princess cruise very much. The workers were fantastic. I would recommend it for my family if they want to sail.
There were some negatives that I will mention in the review. I write them out not as a complaint, but I am hoping Princess media team will be able to see it and make improvement. I also hope to provide future ...
Cruise Route: Barcelona, Spain > Marseilles, France > Genoa, Italy- Civitavecchia, Italy > Palermo, Italy > Valletta, Malta
This was my first time on any cruise and it was a phenomenal experience. The staff was soo welcoming that I didn’t want to leave, most esspecially Mercy a buffet attended. We were the largest family on the cruise and her service was exceptionally awesome. Always checking ...
My wife & I have wanted to do a repositioning cruise for some time, and have just returned from a wonderful Viking Ocean transatlantic voyage from Ft. Lauderdale to Barcelona March 2 ~ 16, with stops in St. Martin and Madeira. We used Viking Air throughout, and upgraded to Delta One on the long return flight. We stayed overnight the day before at the Embassy Suites 17th Street, Ft. ...
We have been sailing with Seabourn for years and the biggest reason we love them is that their luxury but relaxed and every time we come on board, we feel like we’re coming home due to the amazing staff and crew. The moment we walked on the Viking Mars, we felt the same way. From the fantastic Nordic minimalistic design to the fantastic way the staff and crew make you feel. It is never pomp and ...
So for some context this was our 30th cruise with 6 different cruise lines, 6th with MSC and 3rd in yacht club.
Hands down this was our favourite ship ever.
Pro's-
The ship is utterly incredible. Yes it's massive, but there are so many incredible venues and locations and although it was full it felt like it handled the numbers well.
Loads of swimming pools and massive hot tubs. It's ...
