Overall, my husband and I had a great trip. The excursions were fantastic, the room was great and the staff are very personable. However, being a young married couple without children, there is very little entertainment catered to our generation.
Most of the entertainment was for the elderly or for young children. Unless you wait later in the night then there are a couple of shows or parties, ...
This was my first cruise ever. I'm usually a plan my own itinerary, airbnb type of traveller. My husband and I went with 2 other couples, both of which were experienced cruisers.
The ship was very clean and well maintained. We had a balcony stateroom which was well laid out, spotlessly clean and had plenty of storage. My only complaint about the stateroom was the water in the shower could ...
My recent voyage aboard the Carnival Cruise Dream from April 6th to 14th was a rollercoaster of experiences, ranging from delightful surprises to disappointing letdowns.
Let's start with the positives. Among the sea of mediocrity, two stars shone brightly. Dewa, our room attendant, embodied excellence in customer service. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made our stay memorable. ...
I would only give this ship 1 star but because of the ports, our room attended and the crew in the casino I give it 3 stars. This was our first Royal Caribbean cruise. We have been on many Carnival ships and decided to join our daughter and family on Royal Caribbean. Unfortunately, the trip didn't start off well. We got to our room and soon as we opened the door to our room we were hit with a ...
We took a cruise to celebrate Spring Break. We departed from Miami Terminal G. Upon first arrival in the terminal, the age and lack of cleanliness were apparently going to foreshadow the remainder of the trip. While everyone in the terminal was very nice, it just was not up to the Celebrity status that we have come accustomed to.
Our first stop was in Key West which did go smoothly. It was ...
Our family just completed a 7-day Western Caribbean Cruise on the Epic, which was also our first NCL cruise. Prior to boarding, I was absolutely terrified having read all of the recent negative reviews. Having completed the cruise, I must say the Epic gets more criticism than it deserves.
Let's start with the bad:
We had a later board time (I was late doing the online check-in), and ...
My husband and I have been on a number of MSC's ships and in the Yacht Club. Of the cruises we have been on the Seashore would be last place..
I broke it down to what was excellent, good and Unacceptable.
Excellent
* Ocean Cay: This private island is a major perk for MSC Cruises guests. It offers beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, and plenty of activities to enjoy.

Everything is a lot more crowded than you expect. You stand in line a lot. Lines for the buffet, lines for getting on and off the boat, lines for ELEVATOR, lines for any and all food or snacks. I would rather pay a bit more and travel with fewer people.
Kids are everywhere unsupervised. People let their children run around by themselves. You can't get near a hot tub or pool. Even in the ...
First time on Norwegian stayed in The Haven. Highly recommend staying in The Haven even though it is not adults only. The ship was very crowded. It happened to be spring break time and there were A LOT of kids. Norwegian seems to be advertising and promoting families with kids/teens. Choose your week carefully. The excursions were okay. The Jeep and Safari in Costa Maya was very misleading. ...
March 31 – Port Canaveral –
A pretty day as we got to Terminal 10. The process was to pull up to the terminal, unload luggage then go park in the garage. There were 2 lanes approaching the terminal and everyone was lined up in a single line in the right lane. A few shuttles passed in the left lane then people decided that passengers should use both lanes. We had been waiting in the right ...
