I have cruised on Oceania numerous times and never had an experience quite like this cruise. The captain has a reputation on the ship of only going to ports he wants to go to and not what is on the schedule and what is best for the guests, under the auspice of weather or other conditions as an excuse. We ended up with 10 days at sea because of this. Over all the cruise was good (not great) and ...
they clean your room everyday, Varieties of food, Dining experience is really awesome. service is great, Ice cream bar was great, international cafe, Karaoke bar, fitness room, Art auction, love the idea of formal night and going to a fine dining after having pictures from the photographers and you will your pictures that same day...you can watch live shows everyday with their funny Cruise ...
I can’t ever see myself or our group doing NCL again. Poor service many errors and overall poor customer service.
Billing issues on my account before even leaving port. 2 drinks $74 bill. Had drink package.
Lack of bar service.
Only cruise out of 27 or so I had to visit the guest service desk 4 times. I am really easy going person.
Food in the taste did not come out together from ...
We chose the cruise for its itinerary. We wanted to got to French Polynesia and had never cruised across the South Pacific with such exotic locations as the Pitcarin Islands and Easter Island. The flight over allowed us to visit one daughter & family in California out the way over and ended in New York where a second daughter lives. A bonus was a scheduled stop in Norfolk with even more ...
We usually cruise with NCL, but the itinerary during March to Cuba was only available on Carnival ( NCL opened up their itineraries after we booked).
The entertainment was OK, the comedian performed for 35 minutes- should have been longer.
Breakfast in the dining room was horrible- 2nd day we arrived in the dining room at 9:05 and the food was finally served at 9:55, after I went and asked ...
Once we launched, the sailing was very smooth. However, checking in was a bit frustrating. No one was being processed to board for about 20 minutes. Not really sure why and the line was very, very long.
While on board when calling guest services, phone just rang and rang and no one ever picked up. A couple of staff members were rude when asked a question around the ship. Housekeepers were ...
Had been with Oceania in 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed it. That cruise was a comfortable, fairly sophisticated experience, and was always was keen to repeat the experience.
The company brochure is now really misleading. It shows elegant well dressed people, where in actual fact on this trip the majority of people were dressed in baseball caps, T shirts and dad trainers. We are in out late 60's ...
We chose the cruise for the itinerary and the fact that we had been on the Mariner before and had liked it. This time however we were sorely disappointed. The captain seemed to have difficulty communicating with the passengers and any major announcements were handled by the cruise director. There was no warning that we would be without internet or communication the last half of the cruise. The ...
This cruise was far too busy even for a large ship.
The embarkation was a disaster, far too many people in a small space with absolutly no organisation.
I found the balcony aft cabin ok although expensive.
Food in buffet was reasonable but far too busy.
Staff not very friendly ( like other cruises I have been on) Only saw the cabin steward once.
Wi Fi absolutly woefull don't waste ...
This was our 2nd cruise with celebrity and our 14th cruise overall. Both my husband and I agreed that this was the best yet. The ship, staff, food and accommodation were superb. Excellent value for money.
The only downside of the trip was the weather in New Orleans as it was very cold and we didn’t expect it. Not to worry though, once we had layered up the atmosphere of the Mardi Gra more ...
