The service and the ship are excellent.
The only thing that was not quality was the shore excursion to Alhambra. We could hear or understand either tour guide. I did not get any background info on the palace. And the lunch buffet was a disaster. 200 people at once with no guidance. My husband waited in line 25 minutes and I did not even eat. And the bus seats were so cramped. Painful ...
The cruise itinerary was what we were looking for. The crew in the ship when beyond their needs to make us feel at home. All the activity that had kept us busy all the time in the cruise. Dining was perfect, the venues food was excellent. The shore excursions are well plan, the crew all know what they have to do.This was my first cruise with Celebrity and it wouldn't be last one. I was very ...
All I can say about our Transatlantic cruise was it was the best we have taken. There are two primary reasons for this - the Penthouse Suite 1611, and our Butler - Emir. The penthouse is spacious, and when traveling with friends is an excellent place to relax, consume beverages, watch the sail away, etc. Our butler was exceptional (at least to us - one of our neighbors made a list for me of all ...
This was our 4th Transatlantic, we had been to a couple of the ports in the past and the end point in one of our favorite cities, Barcelona, was perfect. We love the Celebrity Solstice class ships and found the Equinox lived up to the high standards Celebrity sets for themself. The food was great..... So many options available, our cabin was immaculate, the wait staff was excellent and the ...
My niece and I thorough enjoyed this cruise. I was concerned as she's 30, and due to the timing and itinerary, I expected the average age of cruisers to be seniors - and they were (so am I.) We were travelling with friends, one in an Aqua class and another with an veranda. Knowing we'd spend little time in our cabin, we selected an inside cabin and weren't sorry. Our cabin was identical in ...
This was our first transatlantic cruise, for my husband and myself, but certainly not our last. Sailing on such a beautiful ship as the Equinox was a pleasure. Embarkation was easy, and being greeted with a glass of champagne on boarding the ship was a nice touch.
Our interior cabin was as spacious as the balcony rooms we glimpsed. Even though our cabin was quite forward and on the 9th ...
My wife and I are relatively new to the cruise scene. As an individual who likes people but doesn't like crowds, I couldn't imagine being couped up on a vessel with limited space with a couple thousand others. However she persuaded me to take an Alaska cruise, and I have been hooked ever since.
This was our fourth trans Atlantic cruise and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The weather for the first ...
We chose a Deck 3 OV cabin. Excellent cabin, and excellent location, close to dining room, theater, views of the ocean, and foyer.
Our cabin attendants, Irena and Oliver, were outstanding not only in their work, but also in their friendliness. Their bright smiles and warm Good Mornings started our days even better than a first cup of coffee. As it turned out, another attendant on Deck 3, ...
This was my husband's first cruise and my 3rd. (first in 12 years). It was incredible! My husband insisted we book another TA for 2017. The ship is lovely. I can't say enough about the service. Just perfect! Guest services personnel were very dedicated to their job.
And of course, the food. We each gained 8 lbs. Absolutely delicious, from Blu, the MDR and the buffet. The waiters, maitre d' ...
My wife found the cruise from a brochure for Oceania and talked 6 of us into going. Our first time aboard any Oceania vessel. We were very pleased! No NORO, after a discussion on cruise critic roll call of this cruise and some unnecessary worrying, there was no Norovirus that I ever heard of. A lovely time, cruise critic met each sea day it was an excellent cruise.
The internet is the ...
