We sailed on MSC Seaside in Feb of 2020 and it was a great experience so we were looking forward to our Cruise booked on Poesia. We chose this one as it had a very nice itinerary. Would not cruise with them again. Food mediocre especially buffet lunch and two of the restaurants charged $60 and another $40 per person in the evening. Champagne served was Axel Yaz !! On the third day was informed they had run out of Axel Yaz and they were trying to push Prosecco. It was an expensive cruise but in our opinion not worth the money. Failure to complete the planned route and failure to provide compensation for this. The ship did not dock in Bisby due to "weather conditions" even though other cruise lines' ships did dock. Instead of changing the route or giving compensation to the passengers, the company just wasted another day on the open sea. This route is really not worth it and a waste of time. We chose this cruise for the price and the ports. Our cruise included a good drink package and $50 off of each excursion for one of us as well as two specialty dinners. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We did not like having to pass through the smoky casino to get to restaurants, and that the smoke infiltrated the atrium areas. Beautiful ship and we liked the infinite balconies, it made the cabin seem more spacious, lots to see and do around the ship. We had booked a three-day Baltic sea cruise leg from Helsinki to Kiel. This was our first cruise ever (apart from Baltic ferries). Easy drinks package was included in the price and we upgraded it to Easy plus. We enjoyed the cruise experience immensely. We are platinum with NCL and have taken 4 cruises since the pandemic. At first I excused the reduced staff due to Covid. Now I understand they are just cutting costs at the expense of service to the passengers. The cabin stewards have twice as many cabins so no turn down service. They are overworked and in bad mood. We choose this cruise based on the destinations and the price. We enjoyed the cruise but found the ship confusing to navigate.
