My partner and I (in our mid-seventies) never having been on a cruise nor ever intending to go on a cruise, made a snap decision to go on this cruise after an advertisement in our daily newspaper caught our eye. Our apprehension soon disappeared upon us setting foot on this beautiful Virgin Voyages ship Resilient Lady and exploring what she had to offer us which was almost over-whelming. We ...
Great service, fabulous immersive entertainment plus a wide choice of specialty fine dining all included.
Cabins are clean and comfortable as you would expect with a new ship. Plenty of outdoors areas to relax in the sun although the wind can be a problem at times. Indoor public areas could be limited in bad weather.
Virgin voyages come at a premium price, but you will not be nickeled and ...
Virgin was advertising with new cruises in Australia, so we thought let's try its, as we been on many (10) cruises (80% are Princess Cruises). There is nothing where we could pick on, all the staff are carrying a warm hart, the food has a big WOW factor we could eat that everyday, one restaurant that was jumping out was the Test Kitchen different but yammy. The service on board was excellent, we ...
The ship is less than 12 months old and as you'd expect it's in immaculate condition , we had an Interior cabin it's much larger compared to other Interior Cabins we've had with P&O , Carnival , MSC & Princess . The food is truly next level , I've cruised with the Lines I've mentioned above but Virgin's food is certainly out in front ! , cruise Staff I've found excellent on all cruise lines and ...
We chose this Cruise to find out if a short 4-day cruise would suit us.
Overall it was a great cruise on a beautiful ship, we had a balcony cabin on deck 8 towards the middle of the ship, the cabin was spacious and decorated nicely, and the bathroom was small, luckily we are slim built, and it certainly was the smallest bathrooms we have experienced on the 12 other cruises we have done.
The ...
A fantastic trip - entertainment and food is out of this world. Don't come on expecting a quiet trip, but it is what you make of it. The gym, classes and walking track are great. Make sure you book into gym classes and dining the minute you are able to. Our stop over in Burnie for the day was also a great add on and the locals are divine. Dining - Pink Agave dinner was the highlight followed by ...
I've always wanted to visit Hawaii. This cruise made it possible to go to three of the islands in comfort. Our cabin on 5th deck was delightful. Plenty of storage, a full closet, and the best designed bathroom of all the many cruises I've taken. One possible improvement could be with the shower door. It tended to open when the ship rocked. We tried several of the eating options; eating mostly ...
Cruise was on 11/2 out to South Pacific
the morning of the cruise, the itinerary changed due to the low. So from 3 ports we went to 2 ports which was Santo and Port Vila (no tenders required) I was very happy with the change as i had not been to those ports since 5 years ago. Plus
$200 onboard credit was given for each cabin. My personal experience: Ship - small and quirky, which Ioved. ...
We have cruised on many ships and love to try different cruise lines.
Resilient Lady was great for a four day from Sydney, suits us.
We found the staff to be exceptional, always friendly and helpful, prompt in serving and response to any request.
A special shout out to our cabin attendants Joshua and Jam, were there within minutes to comply with requests for hair dryer (not in cabin) ...
Recently returned from our 13N Majestic Princess Sth Pacific cruise 10-23 Feb Sydney roundtrip. It was our first Princess cruise since 2017 & our 3rd cruise for the 23-24 season. I make some points:
- Embarking was very fast & we were soon on the ship after shuttle drop-off around noon, having a light lunch in the buffet before dropping our carry-on in our cabin.
- We had ...
