Great luxury cruise with beautiful scenery and penguins BUT a disappointment as an expedition. We did not get what we paid for which was 7 days of multiple water craft experiences and landings in Antarctica. Spent two extra days in Ushuaia waiting for smooth water to cross the Drake Passage. The Celebrity Infinity is 21 years old and it looks it. The decor, carpets and furnishing are dated and tired in appearance.

We have sailed NCL many times and have never been on such a disfunction and poorly organized cruise.

Marina is a 10+ year old ship that looks her age, Decor is dark, halls are dimly lit. You can see signs of rust, large dents on the ships side, and the ship was due for refit in 2022 and then postponed to 2023 and again until 2024. This obviously is due to NCLs tightening the budget. We loved Norwegian so much that we bought stock and held on to it during the downturn. This cruise would be our 10th with the line, and most expensive to date, but was not a good trip.
