First time Viking cruiser

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Viking Sea

This seemed right for us as we have no interest in the big cruise ships. It was about 2/3 full, so never crowded. Staff was wonderful throughout. We asked to be seated with a certain waiter after discovering how excellent he was. They always accommodated us and eventually didn't need us to ask for him. All the wait staff work multiple locations and we became very familiar with many of ...

Viking provided another wonderful trip for us. Always felt safe -- whether on the water or on the ship. Covid protocols were handled daily with no impact -- "spit" in a test tube in the privacy of your cabin and go! (Everyone tested negative daily throughout the cruise.) Weather permitting, a different off-ship excursion daily -- from continent landings, to sea kayaking, to Special Ops boat ...

Always have wanted to go to Antarctica. Read the book Endurance before we sailed to give me the feeling of what they had to endure. Chose Viking as they had a small ship built for just this cruise. Knew we would get good food and good service. Really enjoyed the slide down window wall that opened our room up like a balcony. Found the staff was very helpful and a lot of fun. One issue on the ...

When the catalog arrived at our house introducing the Viking Expedition Cruises, we eagerly read it from cover to cover and immediately scheduled an appointment with our travel agent to book our trip. Having previously experienced Viking Ocean and Viking River Cruises, we knew how Viking pays attention to detail and curates experiences that their guests can enjoy; they truly do allow you to ...

I wouldn’t recommend Atlas to my worst enemy

Review for a Antarctica Cruise on World Navigator

We just finished our Antarctica trip on Atlas World Navigator. Based on my experience I would never go on another Atlas cruise or recommend it to anyone. Here’s why: The ship is beautiful and room attendant and restaurant staff are wonderful but the cruise was run wrong every step of the way: 1) we arrived at Orlando airport on Saturday ( flights booked by Atlas). We were told someone would meet ...

Hurtigruten lived up to its sky high expectations as the leading Expedition Cruise Company in the World. No other company comes close. It just must be experienced. I would not pick another company. Absolutely outstanding in every way, and the litmus test? The happiness level of the crew - they all raved about their employer. The cruise started at Punta Arenas and covered the glaciers of the ...

Superb in every way

Review for a South America Cruise on Celebrity Flora

The whole Celebrity Flora Galapagos experience was superb, from pick-up at the Quito airport to drop-off at the end and everything onboard the ship (except swallowing sea water and getting the runs from the plankton but the doctor took great care of me). One of our best vacations ever. We did back-to-back sailings to get both itineraries, first outer, then the inner loop. The outer loop was ...

Hurtigruten offers an amazing experience and adventure to such a remote, vast, and astonishingly beautify continent. The services they offer and the quality of the rooms, food, and information are unparalleled. The ship was beautiful and very comfortable. The seats everywhere onboard from the rooms to the lounge to the dining rooms were surprisingly comfortable and looked nice too. The decor of ...

i travel in the ventus australis the last febrery with my girlfriend. everithing in ventus australis was perfect. the staff was amazing, and the destination was a dream. the only consideration i must to do, is the food. breakfast was perfect. but the lunch and the dinner was to small. im a big guy, so, the gourmet food was too tinny. I would have preferred the felf-service modality, ...
