We chose Oceania because of friends recommendations. We have been on over a dozen other cruise ships and this was by far the most disappointing experience.
For a concierge level room compared to similar class on other ships, this was well below average. The concierge lounge was sparse and the appetizers snacks were the same every day.

We did a 119 night World Cruise, don't know why the menu here in CC says its only 50 nights. MSC delivers a lot of bang for your buck, though not everything was perfect. Dining rooms had repetitive menus for five months, the two specialty restaurants Prime 7 & Chartreuse never changed the menus. We chose this cruise because we wanted to sail the Polaris as well as spend time on Antarctica, instead of having what we call the "sail by" with a "there it is" commentary to go with it. Going up the Amazon was a bit different than the usual Caribbean jaunts. Also the prospect of seeing Devil's Island was intriguing. Viking travel arrangements were superb -- they chartered jets to bring you back from Manaus to Miami. Three cheers for Viking. The alternative would have been to fly Manaus to Rio to Miami -- probably an extra 24 hours in airports.

My wife and I took this cruise from Miami, through the Panama Canal, down past Peru, and to Chile.
