What happens when a large group of African Americans travel on this ship? An atmosphere of Disdain, hostility, and obvious preferential treatment of others. I sailed in this ship with my family. It was huge gathering as we had not seen each other in years. You see groups of people on ships all the time. But for some reason when it was a large group of blacks people we were treated like scum. If we ...
As a group we have sailed multiple times with Royal Caribbean; each time our special needs were met with understanding and enthusiasm. I’m sad to report this occasion was disappointing. Unable to give a satisfactory review towards managing staff but kudos to the 8 pm main dining team.
A big part of the cruise experience is the food! Windjammer has always been a highlight of Royal Caribbean; ...
Very eery vibe on board. I was first excited to attend the 11 night cruise, but whenever my husband and I would go to eat, shortly after, we immediately noticed the workers would rush us to leave before we were done with our meals. We didn't see them do this with many of the non- black attendees. They'd reach over us to take our plates without as much as asking if we were done. This went on for ...
Out of three Carnival cruises this is absolutely the worst experience ever. Windjammer was rushing us out of the restaurant which I have never experienced and for what reason I don’t know it was early afternoon, why? I absorbed paid for the worst internet services that doesn’t have services on certain floors,I had to leave my cabin room just to get internet services, I had to go on the top floors ...
I paid for 1 liter (qty 20) Evian water bottles prior to sailing. I received 16 floz bottom shelf purified water (qty 20) instead. They offered only 10% discount off the price after grievous complaints were made to service desk.
Don’t bother purchasing the internet package. The service and connection is extremely slow.
The ship crew were more friendly and accommodating to white people. ...
This was our first time on a cuise after just getting married and will definitely be our last with this cruise line. We were treated so badly by the staff as if we didn't pay to enjoy the same amenities as everyone else. They operated at a very basic level in addressing the many issues we had onboard. We dealt with a great deal of harassment from people asking personal questions about my culture ...
This cruise was my first and Mighty be my last. I experienced alot of racism and lack of respect from the Windjammer dinner staff. When trying to take my food out , they would like to stop me and my family , but let others walk out with 2 or 3 plates in their hands. At one point they even had a devider in the middle, it looked like segregation. The food was a 2 out of 10 and they topped it off ...
There were only three people on the entire ship that made me not want to jump overboard and swim back home!
1. Ron: the bartender in the Schooner bar
2. Raniel: the piano player in the Schooner bar.
3. I know I said three people but now that I think about it, I’m the third person… I’m not a really good swimmer
The showerhead was broken and shot water out at me like a fire hydrant. ...
I chose this cruise line thinking it was a great deal for 11 days. In actuality the deal wasn’t worth the horrible experience. The crew, food, customer service, and cleanliness was unacceptable. I wouldn’t refer anyone to this ship. I thought this ship was family oriented and that was not the case. The crew was extremely rude to my children. The rooms was dirty and when they did get cleaned they ...
I have never been on a cruise before and me and my family decided that it would be a good time to final go on one. We were on the Grander of the seas. You would think after you pay that amount of money that you would be treated with respect at least by the staff. They were extremely racist. I would sit in the windjammer/food area and the servers would ask my family to leave so they can clean, but ...
