We recently sailed on the MSC Divina from 12/20 – 12/30/18. The price was fantastic and it appears that they are trying to break into the US market but like anything you get what you pay for and in our case, this was the worst cruise we have ever been on and we have been on a LOT of cruises! We chose this cruise for the ports it was visiting and the price was very good. We upgraded our Drinks on Us package to the Classic package and that was great - all the gelato (wonderful) wine and drinks we wanted.

This should have been an outstanding cruise, but, it was extremely inconsistent. The positives were:
The Wait Staff were outstanding. They were efficient, professional, and an out standing group of individuals. Gilbert, thr Maitre d'hotel is a master.

First cruise with ship with kids age 10 and 8.. can I say a complete waste of money. Food was always , I mean always cold at buffet. Our first “formal” nite we sat at our table for 90 mins with no food, got up and left. 25% of the crew was brand new and others were still fairly new. Service wasn't the best but they will get there. Silver Bar was our favorite with our favorite waiter Yanga!! First time on MSC, we chose because of the free "Drinks on Us" package and balcony.
First the positives: The ship is gorgeous, very elegant and had many nice bars. Our room was great, the best we've had on a cruise. Comfy beds, a sitting area, plus a nice bathroom with a tub which my wife appreciated. Our attendant Juan was very helpful.

Food quality in main dining room is excellent, Celebrrity, Viking River, Holland has American, RCL have nothing to brag about in comparison. We choose the MSC Divina to try a different company and heard that it was a good ship. The ship was nice and most personnel were friendly.
