Cruised on the Dawn for the itinerary. Staying onboard all the way to Capetown. No complaints at all regarding the ship or the food. The only reason for 4 stars is I believe a 5 star rating is reserved for spectacular cruising and very few cruise ships get that rating. Booked by family, they were 11 of us. Great experience for a first time. Staff are welcoming and are always willing to help, but some struggled with English. Stop in Khasaab from Dubai then Muscat, gives you a chance to see Oman, although its very empty and boring. Joined the cruise just before the New Year and was impressed by the decoration and food variety. On NY’s eve, we were invited to the poolside party to join the music and dance before count down. Embarkation in Dubai was long. There was an issue with the check-in system which stated that passengers required a Thailand visa, which we didn't. Staff had to manually override this for each cabin, however only one person could do it, we were in line for about 45 minutes, I did hear of others being in line for 5 hours. Cruising from Athens to Dubai, on Resilient Lady. Excellent staff members and crew. Could not falter, all very busy and seem so happy and content with their positions.
