Wonderful Girls Cruise

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Miracle

The cruise was chosen by a friend because of the destinations and the price. I had never been to Cabo San Lucas nor Escenado but picking the right cruise line and the right cabin mate is essential. We had an oceanview cabin (1137) which was just enough room for the both of us. Made' our cabinet stewart took excellent care of us and ensured that every need was met, whether it was additional towels ...

Great service!

We chose this cruise as it allowed us to go to warm-weather ports in the winter, and we could use 2 Cruise Next certificates. Our last NCL cruise had not been great - especially the service. We'd been on the ship before, as well as its sister ships Bliss and Escape, so we knew (and don't love) the design. We booked an inside cabin, which was OK, although I had hopes of winning the bid for a ...

We selected this cruise because we were originally booked on a cruise to Cuba (with a different cruise line) which had to be cancelled due to our government's policy that US citizens can no longer travel to Cuba. And, our 20th wedding anniversary coincided with the cruise. This was our 72nd cruise. We have sailed on Azamara, Crystal, Celebrity, Holland America, Princess, Raddison, Royal ...

Lovely post holiday getaway

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Royal Princess

I want a getaway, after the holidays. By booking last minute, I was forced into anytime dining and hated it from the moment I walked on. The first night was the worst and they kept sending me to different dining rooms. The wait was going to be 90 minutes, so I was forced to the buffet. They did get a set table for me, for the next 6 nights. At 5 pm, but it was just in the anytime space. The ...

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Norwegian Gem

This was our 11th cruise on NCL. We chose it because we wanted to do a full transit of the canal. First off, the cruise was 20 days. We booked a port balcony cabin on deck 10 somewhat forward. This was our third time on the Gem, a ship we really like because it has excellent public spaces (Spinnaker lounge, outdoor fantail dining, promenade deck) that the larger NCL ships don’t seem to have. ...

The spa was superb

The beds and pillows are incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed deluxe balcony on deck 14 at the front of ship. The spa was wonderful. The Enclave experience was not worth the money. It was often buy and not kept clean. We enjoyed many hot stone spa massages and a deluxe mani/pedu. Shore excursions were awesome. We rode ATVs in Cabo, hiked and kayaked in Mazatlan, and also para-sailed off the ...

Fun, short trip

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Miracle

I just wanted to post some thoughts on the Miracle. We sailed her on a short 3-day out of San Diego, leaving last Friday and returning yesterday morning. This is technically my 4th cruise overall- the first was on Royal Caribbean so many years ago I can't remember it, then the Carnival Imagination (or Inspiration... I get them confused) almost 4 years ago, Ruby Princess in March 2019, and ...

Beautiful ship. awful room - very noisy in the morning

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Panorama

Chose the Panorama since its a newborn ship, Lovely, clean and new. Bad part was the room above a gym. Unfortunately a suppose to be a very relaxing cruise is ruined by a very loud morning spin class that blows the room with Noise. I almost had a nervous breakdown. If management is listening, I suggest that the room within the vicinity affected by the noise be transformed into a room for ...

Panama Canal, new locks

Have done the historic locks 3 times from Atlantic to Pacific, so joined friends to see the new locks going from Pacific to Atlantic. Somehow, I was expecting more differences between the old & new locks, but either way it’s quite the engineering marvel even if you’re not too technically inclined. Did enjoy the stop at Fuerte Amador on the Pacific side and being able to get off to see the ...
