We really liked this cruise.
We were originally booked on the Celebrity Millennium, but Celebrity switched ships and we sailed on the Solstice.
No problem, we really like the Solstice. It was a pre-Christmas cruise so the ship was about 70% full which was nice. Embarkation & Disembarkation were smooth & quick. There are many cruise terminals that could learn much from LA's San Pedro port ...
Just off the Koningsdam Mexican Riviera cruise 12/10/22 to 12/17/22. Great time and cruise. Of course there are always some pluses and minuses, but overall it was good! Love cruising out of San Diego! As we live here it is so convenient not to have to fly anywhere. I wish more cruising options were available.
For a bit of perspective of my review - this was our 2nd time on the Koningsdam ...
2nd cruise on the Navigator in a year, our last cruise was at the tail end of COVID and was amazing! The ship was full this cruise but still felt like we have plenty of space and not too crowded. This trip was with 10 family members and was lots of fun, the embarkation process was not as quick or simple as before which was a shock to me (Seemed like a mad rush when the port staff decided to let ...
We had never been to Columbia, Panama, Guatemala or the Mexican Riviera and transiting the Panama Canal had been on our bucket list. It was the trip of a lifetime.
I had upgraded from an inside cabin to a Club Balcony and another upgrade to the Haven to surprise my wife. She was shocked!
There were a few disappointments starting with Embarkation. We arrived at our scheduled time to find a 3 ...
This was a cruise that was planned before COVID and finally when things settled down I was able to take my cruise and airline credits and book on the Discovery Princess. This was not the initial ship or destination of my original cruise (I don't think the Discovery was even around then), but since I was starting from scratch it did allow me to pick something completely different and boy am I glad ...
I choose this cruise as I had always wanted to see the Panama Canal, it was a great experience. The Emerald Princess is not a new ship but it is well maintained. The ship was recently in drydock and some cosmetic improvements were noticeable, particularly new carpets in the hallways and in some cabins. Work was on going during this cruise but did interfere with the cruise experience. The ...
Took Alaskan Cruise in July 2022 on Ruby, had the worst experience. Embarkation was nightmare, had to wait for about 3 hours to board. With COVID epidemic in full swing, this was a traveler's nightmare. Firstly, peak summer, long lines and fellow passengers in close proximity. Took even more than an hour to get to the boat deck from Port. Due to this frustrating experience, promised never to use ...
I am currently on the Koningsdam, its Thanksgiving day and here is my review.
I’ve never cruised Holland America before. Mostly I’m a loyal Royal Caribbean fan.
I’m travelling solo this time after three years not leaving the island where I live and I was ready to cruise again. I chose Holland America because they sail out of San Diego, the closet port to my home in Hawaii. I wanted an older ...
First of all. let me say I had some trepidation after booking this cruise. We were originally booked on the Diamond Princess out of San Diego in October. We were anxious to have a Princess ship ported out of our hometown and yes it was "that" Diamond Princess of Covid fame. But unfortunately, Princess cancelled the cruise along with about seven or eight other San Diego departures due to a lack of ...
Anniversary vacation. First time cruising with NCL and we really enjoyed it. Overall we spend a little over $4000 the whole week for both my husband and my self. which included 3 spa treatments, portraits, excursions, unlimited drinks (alcohol and specialty coffee drinks), gratuity, unlimited wifi, and a balcony stateroom. We took advantage of our drink package getting Starbucks coffee’s every ...
