After poor embarkation, the rest of the cruise was fun!

Chose this cruise for itinerary + the Iowa State Alumni group. We arrived at the Los Angeles Port at 6:30 pm after a cross country flight and 1 hour 15 min transfer. It was rather dark, one man met the shuttle saying, "it's late and everyone has gone home, you'll have to handle all your own luggage, no carts available" and pointed to a door. It didn't get better, no smiles or information! ...

We chose this cruise because we needed three more days to be upgraded to Platinum as we are taking the Panama Cruise in September and wanted the extra perks on that cruise. Everything was great, but the anytime dining was problematic. This is the first time ever we had to wait an hour to be seated. Granted the ship was full, but we have been on other Princess cruises that were to capacity and ...

I was looking for a cruise experience that would match nice weather in January with ports I had not been to before. This one fit. Most passengers were 50-75 in age and very well traveled. I enjoyed meeting many new and interesting people. Because of the general age, the ship was quiet by 11:00, however I would not say this is true of all Princess cruises. This one attracted an older passenger ...

despite the weather, the cruise was great! the pool area energy during the day was lacking. we did share.. less than exciting. wish we stayed in the MDR. Horizon court food was "just another cruise buffet". Our stateroom was great! The ship overall fantastic. We enjoyed the sushi at vines (even with the drink "pass") the sandwiches at the international court were horrid... but the food in the MDR ...

Chose this cruise line because if it's sister company Regent who we have been with before and loved. Decided to have a change but it was a mistake. No less expensive taking everything into account that we spent and definitely a star grade less. Ship was full and felt very overcrowded. Also oldest age profile of pax We have ever cruised with and their lack of mobility was a factor in several ...

Yes, this is a beautiful ship. Cabins have loads of storage room, food is wonderful, and the drinks never stop flowing, Actually, the amount and quality of liquer available is incredible. Pre dinner cocktails are accompanied by appetizers, and that is shortly after 4:00PM tea time. so much foodi. BUT,shore excursions are not the highlight. FOr most ports, staying aboard is preferable. most ...

We took this cruise to celebrate our 50th Wedding anniversary. I am so glad we did. This was our 8th cruise with Carnival and it did not disappoint. We had blast meeting new friends and singing in the Piano Bar with Elizabeth (She was Fantastic). We toured Pearl Harbor which was a real moving experience. I can't say much about the food because my wife and I agreed to not make this trip all about ...

Sailing out of my home port was attractive and I'm now four star with HAL. The service, per usual, was outstanding, but some changes are worth noting. No more librarian is bad news and whoever is now responsible at the home office needs to take a few collection lessons. Books were disorganized and using the location specialist as an occasional organizer just does not fly. The ship singers and ...

We have enjoyed several Holland America cruises, and were our friends who had moved to San Diego invited us to join them. We looked forward to 11 sea days of relaxation and the possibility of playing bridge with other interested players, plus 5 days in 4 Hawaiian islands. (Because of an unexpected tropical storm, we missed Kawaii, but appreciated the captain's keeping us safe. HA adjusted the ...

This was my second Carnival cruise. I had, overall, a good time and I will start with the good from this cruise. The staff was incredibly friendly and seemed to be everywhere. Jaime, the Cruise Director was fantastic. I am retired USAF, and the military program one afternoon was memorable. Many vets I saw were in tears. Possibly due to the itinerary which included Honolulu, there were an ...
