Too many passengers for staff and venues

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Norwegian Bliss

We did not enjoy this cruise at all and wanted to post this for other's consideration in booking a cruise. For the record, my husband and I have taken approximately a dozen cruises, primarily on HAL and Royal Caribbean, and one on Celebrity. This was our first and last cruise on NCL for the reasons discussed below. On the positive side, I thought the observation lounge was beautiful and it ...

Unethical behavior from NCL

We decided to take the Cruise because the Bliss has the Racetrack, and we booked our cruise almost a year in advance, and were told there would be ample ability to drive go carts and that there even was an unlimited race package. The whole process on the NCL site is convoluted and a bit crazy, all from not having much information to requiring you to pay on the spot or possibly get your cruise ...

Extreme passenger count + 1500 spring break kids = chaos, get me off the boat

We've done 15 or so cruises previously and this was our first time on NCL. We have a lot of mixed emotions. I will add some up front context to set the table as someone in a different life circumstance may feel differently. We are a mid-40s couple without kids. Shame on me for booking this trip during spring break...I get it. I was thinking about work and not about hundreds of screaming kids or ...

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Discovery Princess

Hi, Everyone! I've already posted a LIVE from Discovery Princess topic, so I'll just stick to a summary here. My wife and I have cruised extensively on many cruise lines -- Platinum on Princess, so getting close to 15 cruises on their line. We live in Phoenix, so we prefer to sail out of one of the SoCal ports, which greatly limits the possibilities. We were looking for a 7-day cruise to ...

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Crown Princess

We bid on an upgrade and were successful. Initially we were in a penthouse suite on Riviera deck. Room was too noisy to sleep so we requested a move. We were moved to Aloha deck at the back of the ship and unfortunately it was actually worse than the previous room. The guest service supervisor was rude and dismissive and told us we expected too much and should have spent more money on a better ...

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Panorama

Getting there Brian and I booked the Panorama to the Mexican Riviera last year for our Spring Break cruise. We took advantage of a very rare free Cheers promotion, and used it to the fullest! We took the chance of flying from Las Vegas to Long Beach the morning of the cruise. It was a little stressful, but we took the first flight in the morning, with plenty of flights throughout the day ...

Hello! We are in our 40s with a tween. We have cruised several times- 3 with Carnival, Royal, and Norweigan. Pros: The ship is beautiful! She is well maintained. Staff was fantastic. Room steward did an excellent job. She was always cheerful. Our waiter was fantastic. He was attentive. I loved the Italian restaurant and the pizza. All of the onboard activities was great. Slides, sky rider, and ...

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Emerald Princess

User Avatar

First Time Cruiser • Age 70s

The food and service was wonderful. Panana Canal was the Panana Canal. Cartegena was lovely as was Huatulco. Punteranus not so nice. 2 things ruined this cruise for us. 3 of us got COVID 19 around day 4 or 5. There was no screening and no masking at all. What made it worse was that everything was overcrowded. Hard to get a table at the buffet. Hard to get a seat in the theater. Everyting was ...

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Radiance

I'll start this review by saying I hadn't initially booked this sailing, originally we were booked on the Panorama for the 9th of December but due to engine problems, the ship was dry docked. That being said we paid little to nothing for this cruise nor did I have many expectations as this was my first time sailing with Carnival. For reference, my first cruise was on Harmony with Royal, which was ...
