We chose this cruise for the itinerary and the 3.7 reviews. Someone must have gotten paid to give them a decent rating. Perhaps the specialty dining would have been worth eating but we actually lost weight on a 20 day cruise because I refuse to pay extra for food that should be part of the cruise The tea was tea flavored beverage. The orange juice was Orange juice cocktail. Grilled fish....what ...
This was an 80s themed cruise and that was very appealing. However, the only thing 80s was the nightly show at 7:30 or 9:00. Very little 80s anything other than some cheap paper signs and inflatable cell phones.
Ship is so old. Our balcony was rusted through on the front. The spa was a mess. Lockers were broken and you couldn’t lock them so we were told just stick your belongings in there it ...
28yo Male- I’ve been on celebrity and carnival. first time NCL, from this experience I will not be back.
Pros:
- My group was able to get reservations at le Bistro and Ocean Blue. Fantastic food and service. Definitely worth it
- cabin was clean
- the District was a fun great service bar (when it was open)
- shows were good, Six was awesome
- housekeeping staff were some of ...
I was on two Norwegian cruises before and swore never again but thought I’d give them one more try because my son wanted to try the single cabin. Food was absolutely horrible, even in the specialty restaurants. Los Lobos ranked with dog food, that I wouldn’t feed my dog. The only good food we had was when we got off of the ship. Service was super slow and the staff seemed not to care. At ...
Cruise number 14 for us. Panama Canal passage on the list of " must do ". The price seemed very reasonable, although with Norweigan the extras add up like one of those $29 airfares that actually costs $229 when you pay for all the necessary extas.
We had put in a "bid" for an upgrade that works like an auction over about a week period. Day before cruise received an email stating that our bid ...
It was overall a really bad experience. Common areas were not large enough to comfortably accommodate the amount of passengers. It was very similar to Vegas. Maybe half the staff that was needed to accommodate a full ship. Room was barely cleaned late in the day. No turn down service. Took forever to get a drink at the bars and there was no service at chairs or tables besides in the sit down ...
We chose this cruise because we had a previous great experience on the carnival dream. We were leery of the reputation carnival had with party animals and were hesitant to bring our toddler on as a result, however given our previous experience we chose them anyway on a Mexico sailing. The ship itself is beautiful and once you get a feel of that flow of design it makes a lot of sense and you can ...
If you are preparing to go on carnival radiance here’s a few things to expect:
-Stuck up and flat out rude employees (especially guest services)
-Mediocre food that will bloat you and make you sick.
-Every “free” trial of the spa or whatever exclusive service they have to offer is just a scam to try and sell you the program.
-Every “free” ítem they offer on their app for events ...
Need an elevator? Sorry too crowded. Gokarts? Sorry full. Shore excursions? Sorry sold out. Restaurant for your family to sit? Nope- not taking any more reservations. Go to the buffet and fight for a table. Pool chairs for your family? Good luck. Drink service at the pool? Lol. Got up to wait for a drink? Lost your seat. Norwegian has taken what would an ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS boat and turned it into ...
We chose this Cruise because we are on the West Coast and leaving from LA was cheaper than the Caribbean. Also, we were able to pay for this cruise using Air Miles points. The Norwegian Bliss is a giant ship full of Staterooms - not open spaces, not beautiful fine finishes, just more staterooms... "pack 'em in like cattle" should be their motto. No seating at the Buffett, wait in line at every ...
