My first and last time on Princess!!!

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Crown Princess

I choose this cruise because of my 87 year old aunt, someone in her age group told her that they like Princess and that’s the one they use. There were issues from the time we made it to embarkment, it was a disaster the lines were wrapped around and issues with having enough porters to handle the luggage. Once aboard the ship, the steward assigned to our room introduced herself and I explained to ...

Embarkation/Entertainment

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Norwegian Jewel

I've gone on Carnival, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean. Norwegian has the best dining with Specialty Restaurants but other than that it's a very boring ship. Too many children running around unattended, hot tubs full of children. Comedy night was 18+ but people bought their children so the comedian talked about oral sex and masterbation as I sat there with children around. Left there and went to ...

Embarkation and disembarkation were awful

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Norwegian Jewel

I’m trying to write this while everything from this cruise is fresh in my mind (we returned yesterday). This is a review of a Norwegian Cruise Lines week-long cruise to Mexico from San Diego and is fairly lengthy. If you want to skip the details, the conclusion is that my wife and I have been contentedly cruising on Celebrity for a number of years. We will be skipping NCL in the future in favor ...

Things have really gone downhill for the Bliss

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Norwegian Bliss

I chose this cruise for a couple reasons. One - I was on this ship right before Covid hit, I had a couple issues (I fell on the tender and no one from NCL helped me, the passengers did) and I remember overall it was okay and I was cruising with my mom and wanted to show her the larger ships. Two - the dates and times worked for us, so I booked it for the yearly mother- daughter vacation. Where do ...

My wife and I sailed on Royal Princess Cruise 15 Nights to Hawaii from San Francisco (27 Mar – 11 Apr) I am Elite Captain’s Circle Member. Our Cabin Steward was excellent Elizalde. Also special praise for Mr Xavier (Guest Service Director) who was extremely helpful with a major issue I had with the Coffee Card/Elite Benefits. Let me start by saying that Royal Princess Cruise Ship is ...

First and last cruise with NCL

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Norwegian Bliss

We chose this cruise first of all because of the ship and also because of departure from Los Angeles. We have cruised Royal Caribbean and Carnival in the past and enjoyed both, but wanted to try a different line. We thought NCL might be our new choice after looking at the Bliss and it's amenities. We will go back to our previous cruise lines in the future, but here are pros and cons: Pros: The ...

Disappointed

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Celebrity Solstice

First off I must say the crew was wonderful. The finest ever and very nice. We had sailed on Celebrity many times before Covid and really liked it. I especially remembered the warm welcome as they handed us a glass of champagne….but that was several years ago. Not anymore! Embarkation was a mess. Very confusing. You had to drop your luggage off at the ship, then go to a different parking lot ...

Once Upon a Time

Close by, my birthday and value was the reason for choosing this cruise to Cabo. We have enjoyed this class of ship and Celebrity in general before- pre covid.Times have changed - the food was just terrible. It didn't make any difference where or when you ate, it was all the same problem. Bottom line, it is clear they have cut the food budget. Think they were getting complaints at sea on ...

Will never do Lindblad/NatGeo again

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on National Geographic Venture

We chose this trip as it was billed as 'active' and showed much promise. Wow were we disappointed. First off be aware that NatGeo cruises are expensive. Very. So hey attract a primarily elderly clientele. I'm in my sixties and was one of the youngest passengers. As a result the movement of people is slow. Painfully slow. Getting on and off zodiacs and shore is a real chore. This was ...
