I am from California, and now live in Washington State. We travel monthly with our RV club, and this month decided to take a short cruise. We arrived in Ca a few days early to explore my old haunting grounds. Then boarded the Radiance on Monday. We arrived a few hours earlier than our boarding time, but was invited to go ahead and check in early, so we can start enjoying the trip. Check in ...

LA to Ft. Lauderdale via the Panama Canal

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Queen Elizabeth

The itinerary seemed both exciting and romantic. Plus, there was no overseas travel involved for us (from Chicago). We were also looking to sail on the Queen Elizabeth. An unexpected bonus was successfully bidding on a Princess Grills cabin. Everything came together even better than we had hoped. We loved the QE and being in the Grills for 14 days was just amazing. The value is clearly there. The ...

I’m not used to writing reviews. But with the experience we had, I feel that I needed to write something. Carnival Radiance from Long Beach to Ensenada was a great experience, specially to a newbie like us. Can’t thank enough the crew that made our experience memorable. 5 star to the following crew. Christian the lead server, his team Jonas, Edwin, Ketut, Iver and kayhcee went above and beyond ...

Had fun with the "Panorama Family"

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Panorama

We are repeat Carnival customers and have also been on Celebrity and Disney. Because a good time on a 6-day Panorama Christmas cruise two years ago, we took new cruisers with us for this trip. Our two families had kids ages 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20. The Panorama has the happy atmosphere that Carnival intends with its "Fun" focus. Carnival is campy and over-the-top and proud of it. If you are a ...

Memorable Voyage

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Emerald Princess

What started on an innocent sunny day in August turned out to be an adventure we will always remember. Despite being impacted by (2) Hurricanes, the fires in Maui, and multiple medical emergencies, the Princess Staff and Officers rallied to help us all make the best experiences possible. The weather to Hawaii was hot and sunny, which was really nice. The last minute decision to reroute to Kona ...

Arrive At the Port Before The Porters Go Home

My wife and I have cruised to Hawaii four times but always in the fall or winter. We wanted to try a cruise to Hawaii in the summer. We booked a one-bedroom suite about a year before the cruise which was 16 night round-trip from Port of Los Angeles. We like round-trip from LA because it is about 45 minutes from our home. We have cruised Princess 11 times prior to this cruise and have always ...

Family of 5 first time on Carnival and loved it

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Radiance

We chose this cruise, because we were visiting California. We have historically cruised solely with RCL and NCL. Carnival exceeded our expectations. My husband and I are in our 40s. Our kids are 19, 17 and 13. Cabin - Pretty much the same across cruise ships. They are small, but we spend so little time in the room, we really don't care. One thing I will mention about Carnival... they ...

Fantastic Family Vacation

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

Fantastic vacation on the Navigator 7 day itinerary to Cabo, Mazitlan and PV. Overally the reviews of the Navigator have been very good but I am always surprised by the sniping about the food. Lets be honest - the food isn't 5 star quality on any RCL ships. But is that really what your expectation is? Ive learned on my first few RCL cruises that the food is going to be...fine. I always find ...
