The design of the casino on deck 5 just underneath the plaza makes it so that all the cigarette smoke rises up to the promenade. Bad ship design. I had to wear my mask the fist night as the smoke was too potent in the promenade it made it hard to breath. The music in the main pool on deck 11 was so loud I couldn't carry on a conversation with my spouse. It was definitely a party crowd as there ...
We chose this cruise and the cruiseline because of tbe itinerary. Before start of the cruise we already received change of itinerary whereby 1 port of call was cancelled. During the cruise 2 other ports of call (out of 6 remaining!) were cancelled (due to wrather conditions and mechanical problems to the ship) and 1 was changed due to political troubles. As a compensation we received 200 USD non ...

This was our 5th Seabourn cruise and, unlike our most memorable cruise aboard the Quest to Antarctica with the late and much missed Captain Larsen, this voyage was a bust. Think that you’ll get close to Polar Bears and other marine mammals aboard Zodiacs? Think again! You’d be better off watching a David Attenborough film and saving yourself +$30k. We never got closer than 1000 meters to these ...
My husband and I wanted a romantic getaway and Oceana was advertised about being luxury and amazing food. After several other cruises we thought we would give it a go thinking it could be right for us...
1. Food was not amazing. We had about 50% success rate with the meals. A few were very good. They are catering to an older crowd and not a foodie crowd.
2. Older crowd is the focus 75+ ...
My friend had previously taken several transatlantic cruises with Cunard many years ago and was excited to try their Panama Canal cruise, so I decided to go with her.
Cunard positions themselves as a premium cruising line and prices their cruises accordingly, with emphasis on dressing up for dinner, unfortunately the experience doesn’t justify the pricing.
It was billed as a regular cruise ...
We chose this cruise on Carnival Radiance a few weeks in advance due to cost. We’d taken two Mexican west coast cruises on Carnival before under similar circumstances on two of the old Fantasy class ships before COVID and had been pleasantly surprised both times. Sadly that didn’t carry over to their larger and newer sister. Radiance first and foremost has way too many people on board for her ...
Overall trip was fantastic but first and last time with this line.
Embarkation - Fast and easy - we walked on the ship and checked in in the Insignia Lounge to get ticked off we had watched the safety video then dropped our carry on off at our cabin and went for lunch all in under an hour.
DINING/FOOD/DRINKS,- - we found waves, the food hall/Terrace all good with some daily changes in food ...
This was my third Princess cruise, and this boat should not have 4.5/5 stars. It’s really worn with marked up and beat up furniture, musty hallway carpet, and rusted railings.
We had a mini suite and I felt transported to season 10 of the original Love Boat—in the 80s.
The crew wasn’t as friendly as previous voyages, they all seemed exhausted. Many of the services I liked on previous ships ...
You will find there are times when it tastes good, but most of the time it’s relatively bland and I am not even talking food. Let me explain and I will also throw in some tips to help you get a little more spark from this expensive 2 star boat ride. This may be too long for a lot of you…so I will put some TLDR at the bottom to get you what you need to know. For the rest of you…
