It was the first world cruise for msc. we had done two other world cruises with holland america and costa cruise. When we compered the msc cruise with the other two was very poor in several areas.
Cost: we paid a lot more money for this cruise so we espected more. The cabin with balcony 9080 was very small and impossible to organize clothing and shoes.

We had a terrific cruise through the Panama Canal. We'd only been on the royal class ships and weren't sure if we'd like the small ship - we loved her and she is now our favorite. The ship has lots of public seating areas and I always found a seat where I wanted one.

Decided to do the world as a ‘Well Why Not’ and wasn’t disappointed generally. Arcadia is a very stable ship in adverse weather conditions. Cabins were very comfortable, although a tad tired/well worn.
Meals in Meridian Restaurant were excellent, think there was only one dish I disliked and that was me, not the restaurant’s choice. The Sindhu is totally delicious.

If you like smaller older ships with a full promenade deck, service with a smile, and a full transit of the Panama Canal this is the cruise for you. An amazing cruise and would recommend a Panama cruise to all. The ship was going into dock for some refurbishment but this did not spoil our trip. It did look tired and old fashioned in some areas.
