The port stops were somewhat boring--not a lot of infrastructure for visitors in Central America. However, the ship experience was outstanding. The food was truly amazing and the service was wonderful. This was our fifth cruise with Oceania on our third ship.

1. Thank you for bringing back some higher end clothing like Tommy Bahama. I bought a jacket.

The only bad part of the cruise is the embarkation and disembarkation. The ramp getting on and off the ship in Long Beach, California seems like its a mile long. However, at the port of call it was only 5 or 10 feet.
I could write a book on how great this cruise was but, it was such that we have already scheduled our next cruise for April 12, 2017.

One negative: Holland has cut back on more "gourmet" or continental food offerings such as gourmet cheese, smoked salmon, a more extensive room menu, no homemade ice cream or tropical flavors, but otherwise we found the food in all venues to range from very good to excellent. We have always cruised on Princess Cruise Line. Embarkation was pretty painless. The ship is beautiful, we had a mini-suite and it was very comfortable.
