The port stops were somewhat boring--not a lot of infrastructure for visitors in Central America. However, the ship experience was outstanding. The food was truly amazing and the service was wonderful. This was our fifth cruise with Oceania on our third ship.
Although the Regatta is almost 20 years old, it doesn't show it's age at all. Maintenance is constant. The service was excellent, ...
Princess Cruise Lines – Island Princess – Panama Canal Grand Adventure
December 20, 2016 Sailing 15 Days

This is my first time sailing with princess cruise lines. My entry to cruising, and where i have spent my 2 previous cruises, is carnival cruise lines. I moved up one service level within carnival corporation, and it was a very ...
1. Thank you for bringing back some higher end clothing like Tommy Bahama. I bought a jacket.
2. Really enjoyed the Crab Shack.
3. Thanks for the upgrade to a mini suite, a first for us.
4. The $199 photo package, about time the price was reasonable.
5. More than one happy hour, great idea and fun
6. Tony Daro was hilarious, great comedian
7. Solomon Jaye was a great ...
After a terrible cruise on the Mariner with Regent of the Seven Seas we returned to Seabourn hoping that it still was the best cruise line we had ever been on, we were not disappointed, there have been some cutbacks as with all cruise lines but not enough to have a big impact on the services, and yes as many of the seasoned crew were on the new Explorer there were some delays in service but these ...
The only bad part of the cruise is the embarkation and disembarkation. The ramp getting on and off the ship in Long Beach, California seems like its a mile long. However, at the port of call it was only 5 or 10 feet.
I could write a book on how great this cruise was but, it was such that we have already scheduled our next cruise for April 12, 2017.
For those who haven't yet taken a cruise ...
This was my family's first cruise and we were not disappointed. In fact, we were surprised at how attentive the staff was and how well-cared-for we felt. We had no pre-conceptions or notions as to how cruises generally were so we were surprised at all of the niceties and courtesies we were given while on the cruise and at ports. We have decided cruising is the most bang for the buck because ...
We went on Ruby Princess. It was chosen by one of our family members because it was a family reunion. There were 26 people in the group. We flew into Los Angelis a day ahead of when we would embark on the ship. We had a very easy embarkation because the Ruby Princesses had just upgraded a set of mini suites in the exact middle of the ship, and we had Club Class amenities including a special ...
We chose this cruise to take our parents for their 60th wedding anniversary. It had always been their dream to do this cruise. They are in their mid 80's and it was a cruise with the days at sea that they love. Princess provided a lifetime memory for them....and for us. The Ruby Princess was beautiful. The staff was excellent, helping and friendly. The food and dining room staff were superb. ...
Sixth cruise to Mex. Riviera, fifth on Holland. Didn't disappoint at all. One negative: Holland has cut back on more "gourmet" or continental food offerings such as gourmet cheese, smoked salmon, a more extensive room menu, no homemade ice cream or tropical flavors, but otherwise we found the food in all venues to range from very good to excellent. The quality has not been cut, just the choices. ...
We have always cruised on Princess Cruise Line. Embarkation was pretty painless. The ship is beautiful, we had a mini-suite and it was very comfortable. We did anytime dining which gave us flexibility and we shared table with other people which allowed us to meet new people. The service was excellent especially in the Wheelhouse Bar/Salty Dog Restaurant. The bar crew under Steve Brown was ...
