Sailed out of San Francisco with a couple of rough days at sea (thank you cruisecritic reviewers for the fair warning) during the first couple of days. Weather changed from chilly to nice and warm when the seas calmed. The four sea days going over seemed long, but then a different port each day seemed pretty hectic.

This was our first time on Princess, as we had typically sailed on Carnival in years past. I will say that Carnival cruises can be a lot of fun, but we were going for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation, ideally free from kids and rowdy groups. Princess delivered.

Picked this cruise because it's the only one that starts and ends in Honolulu. All others depart from California coast and have a LOT of days at sea. I LIKE days at sea, but not that many! We enjoyed our trip to the various islands. Disappointed that we did not get to see the Na Pali Coast; they did give us each $100 for on ship credit.
