Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Crown Princess

I've been on Princess before and enjoyed it and, this cruise fit the bill of covering two holidays and, as a bonus, friends were also going. To begin with, I've been on almost 40 cruises this was the first ship I've been on where there was no sofa or chair in a balcony cabin. There was only the desk chair. Here's what was wrong with my cabin: 1. No place to sit 2. The bed was extremely ...

We are platinum level on princess cruises. We have sailed on the Royal Princess before, and had a really nice time. I was really disappointed on this trip with the staff and service. We embarked in San Francisco for a 15 day Hawaii Cruise. Embarkation: From the moment we were in the waiting area for embarkation, I knew something wasn’t right. Embarkation was a nightmare. Huge ...

Worst cruise ever with Norwegian

We chose this cruise because we wanted to visit Hawaii only and the itinerary just went to the Hawaian islands and spent 2 days on each island. We thought this would be the best way to explore Hawaii and what it has to offer. The boat is US registered and requires 70% of the staff to be American. The ships was 80% capacity, but there was a shortage of staff. Here are the reasons this was the ...

I have been on 7 NCl cruise and even sailed on the Pride Of America 5 years ago with my wife. We selected this cruise again because this time we wanted to bring our two adult Special needs children with us so they could see the beauty of Hawaii. This is the only ship that does a full week in Hawaii. We were very disappointed over all. We booked two a joining rooms as there were 5 of us ...

Princess service is below level 1 out of 10 these days

We have done this cruise 4 times previously and enjoy leaving from Vancouver while we live in Victoria so no airline travel required. Embarkation was very smooth and there the service ended. We have been Elite for a number of cruises and have seen a marked decline in what our loyalty level is supposed to provide. The service desk no longer has a dedicated line for Elite and Suite passengers. They ...

Oh where shall I start on such a fun cruise that was the beginning of a lifetime of marriage.. Such a disappointment and after 114 attempts of phone calls to a number filled with people who could give a crap. Or mail never answered to the office in Santa Clarita. Even 2 certified letters that got denied . So this is where the story begins. I wanted to surprise my fiance with a cruise ...

Princess Cruises are no longer a premiere vacation

First let me start by saying I have written to Princess Cruises to give them a chance to respond before I made a review, I heard nothing from them either the letter or the survey. We had no problem boarding and getting to our cabin the steward was excellent and very friendly. Now the food review: The Horizon Court buffet was chaotic at the best of times from long lines because people were ...

Horrible experience with Princess

We chose this cruise so that we might compare Princess to Holland who we normally sail with. There were so many awful things about this ship and this cruising company that this space is not big enough. Firstly their application called Medallion is for their benefit only and not the passengers. It kept freezing up and we were unable to make reservations or order items onboard. They have an ...

My cruise with NCL on the Pride of America last October 2022 was a terrible experience. After much effort to get satisfaction and resolution to our horrible experience from NCL I feel compelled to provide this information from my experience so others can review and more thoroughly make their cruise selections. My wife and I purchased this cruise in June 2022 directly from NCL with a cost of over ...

As cruisers since 2008 and having done 16 total, this being our 17th and 4th Princess cruise I'm sorry to say going was a mistake. 15 day Hawaii round trip from San Francisco, flew in day of the cruise and Uber from OAK to the pier #27, split fare with our 2 cruise buds and the total Uber was only $66 + tip. Ship was fine, clean, maintained, employees friendly but all the old covid protocols ...
