Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Carnival Legend

We travelled to Hawaii from Vancouver, leaving Sept. 13, 2016. We were delighted with the entire cruise. We paid $1499 a person, and for this amount of money, where can you have 10 nights accommodation, all the food you can eat, entertainment, and amazing activities. I have cruised about 12 times, and I find Carnival a great value. Sometimes things can go off a bit, like excursions run late, ...

We chose to take this cruise aboard Carnival simply because I enjoy cruising and my wife wanted to visit Hawaii. Leaving from Vancouver was convenient, since we are from Seattle. Getting though customs was relatively smooth. While waiting for or luggage we decided to review the ship. We were initially disappointed in the ship. We noticed not a lot of activities, other than sitting in the sun. ...

i was offered a deal by your sydney sales woman, gina. i had to take advantage of it.the only part of the cruise that was 5 star ,was the service provided by the receptionists, the excursion officer, all the cabin attendants, the house keeping supervisor, the restaurants serving staff and supervisors, most of the bar attendants and some of the crew members. some of the a la carte food would be ...

We chose this cruise because of the smaller size of the ship, the French language (although everything on board is bilingual French/English) the food, the trip, the reputation of this company and the itinerary. It was our first cruise and we are hooked. The service was impeccable, the captain and crew outstanding, the cabin modern, gorgeous and luxurious, the food was absolutely wonderful, the ...

We were very pleased with our cruise on the Pride of America. I have to say it was much better than many of the reviews indicated. We are long time cruisers on other lines and were pleasantly surprised with POA. Embarkation was easy and fairly quick. Upon arrival we ate in the dining room. By the time we finished lunch our stateroom was ready. We had an Aft cabin and it was very nice with a ...

We were attending an insurance convention in Oahu, and wanted an easy way to visit multiple Hawaiian islands without having to repeatedly fly and unpack. Our last cruise was on our honeymoon, a few decades ago, so we went in with no real expectations. Embarkation was a moderately long line, but went smoothly, while disembarkation was a breeze because we just walked off the boat with our ...

Hawaii, it's on my list of plces to see as I enter my 66th year, I have sailed twice before with this cruise line so know the routine but it was still a daunting task going through the boarding process it took over 40 minutes, but I need to remember they are jointly looking after my safety for the next week. All that behind me now and I am in a superb well laid out room on 7th deck and have a ...

My wife and I, both in our late 50’s, cruised Hawaii on the PoA the second week of September. We traveled with 5 relatives and friends around our age. We’ve cruised 22 times on multiple lines although our “go-to” is RCCL although we like the lower cost and good locations that NCL offers. Overall we greatly enjoyed this cruise and would recommend it for those wanting to see the Hawaiian Islands. ...

We had an amazing time aboard the Radiance of the Seas on our cruise to Hawaii. We were thrilled to find this 11 night cruise to Hawaii on Royal Caribbean. It apparently was a repositioning cruise after they were done with their Alaska tours for the summer. Although this was our 15th cruise, this was our first one longer than 7 days. We really enjoyed our five days at sea and truly enjoyed ...

Terrific cruise to Hawaii. Embarkation was easy because we walked to the port. We heard there were problems with taxis. But we were able to get on board in less than an hour. My time dining was broken for most of the cruise. They now require a "golden ticket" to enter the dining room.some people received the tickets and most did not. This created a chaotic scene each evening. The house keeping ...
