First Time Cruise

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Carnival Miracle

Service was GREAT! Pre-paid the gratuity thinking I didn't have to worry about tipping. Well that is totally wrong! The employees don't receive it! You still need to tip for all your services. Well I should say you don't have to, but the employees are so good to you, you feel you need to. My room/bathroom was disgusting! They only run in and to change the sheets and towels! They do not do any ...

Great way to see so much of Hawaii

Hawaii itself is a 5 star experience!!! We wanted to be able to see as much of Hawaii as possible with the least expense and number of sea days. This was definitely the way to go. Each port gives such a different Hawaiian experience from culture to climate, food, activities and beaches. Some ports are heavily "touristy," and others more preserved. The pictures we took were so beautiful they ...

Chose to go on this cruise to share witt a very close friend, that we have enjoyed traveling with over several continents. The departing harbor was ideal,, as we both live in Los Angeles and avoided the hassle of airports.. Embarkation and disembarkation for us went smoothly . Have traveled on many cruise lines before I found that the activities for 15 days were linited. They should have had a ...

My wife and I chose to celebrate my retirement after 40 years in fire service with this 15 day cruise to Hawaii. Overall a great time with many dedicated staff members on the Carnival Miracle working to make it special. A special recognition to Joner our cabin steward. The ship was clean and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a balcony on the 7 the floor towards the front. We only ...

Just back from a 15 day cruise to Hawaii. What a wonderful trip, the service on the Miracle was spot on! From the bartenders to our wait staff in the main dining room, we were well taken care of. Our cabin steward was amazing! This was a great trip and met amazing people. Jaime is an amazing cruise director and Brittney does a great job as entertainment director. The food was great and actually ...

the ship was very clean and the personnel were very cordial. the food had such a wide variety, and the pizza was so tasty. lemonade was available 24/7, the room was very well kept (thanks to Mel) and the halls/corridors we kept very clean with very few room service trays cluttering them. there were numerous events aboard to attend, so time flew by. the weather mother nature left us ...

I would give this cruise four or five stars except for the problems that occurred due to the ship's being damaged. Our second cruise on the Grand Princess. Embarkation very easy. Love all the sea days on this itinerary. We had a full suite and it was great to have that much room. Food and service in dining room were very good. Excursions were good—I use a mobility scooter and Princess's ...

We love departing from our 'local' Port - San Francisco! They really have their act together!! Okey dokey, we have enjoyed 'all' of our previous cruises with Princess!! Unfortunately our ship BROKE on the 10th day (night). Very Rough Seas broke a portion of the gangplank; causing us to return to Honolulu. So we missed out on 5 days/nights of our, otherwise, wonderful cruise. Life happens - ...

Ship Stops in the Pacific at Midnight

We chose this cruise because we'd cruised with Princess before and really enjoyed the relaxation and amazing food. This cruise was one for the books. The Embarkation process was absolutely hands-down the best of all cruises we've experienced. The first 4 days of the 15-day cruise was relaxing, then it slowly grew worse. When we arrived to our room, the first thing we saw was the trash on the ...

We flew to San Francisco 2 days early to explore the city. We enjoyed riding on the hop on, hop off bus. We went around the city. The weather was a little bit cold but manageable. I chose this cruise because I would like to experience all the itineraries of Princess cruise. I had been cruising with princess all the time because I always come home with good experiences. I never cruise with any ...
