We cruise about twice a year to relax and to have fun and we did on each cruise. The dinning and the fitness room are very good. The serve from the staff people are very good. You might get one or two staff people that is not nice on a given day, but most of all I found the staff very nice and helpful on all my cruises we have been on. I enjoyed the cruise tours and all the stops, they were a lot ...

Very Impressive Cruise

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Queen Elizabeth

we chose this cruise because even though we have done many shorter cruises on other cruise lines we were excited to cruise across the Atlantic ocean, down to the Caribbean, through the panama canal and home to Australia. Both our embarkation and disembarkation involved minimum waiting, and luggage collection went smoothly too. Our cabin 6068 was midships, had a lovely balcony, and was kept ...

If you are going to take this cruise I suggest you upgrade and spend the extra money on a suite. We stayed in room 13010 and it was very nice! The perks you get as a suite guest are amazing. 1.) Priority boarding 2.) Priority tendering when in Kona. 3.) Breakfast and lunch at Cagney's restaurant. Way better than the Aloha Cafe buffet. 4.) Full service Butler. We also got included ...

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Westerdam

From January 7-31, a friend and I spent 24 days aboard Holland America’s Westerdam on a Collectors Cruise to Mexico and Hawaii, followed, three land-days later, by a 15-day cruise through the Panama Canal aboard the Island Princess (February 3-18). Below are my thoughts about the two cruise lines. It was apparent on all three cruises that, with the exception of some very weak and generally ...

We choose this cruise as it fit into our trip to the states with our adult children. This was our 7th cruise but first with Holland America. Our adult children nick named it "Rest-a home-a-dam. We think the spare cabins must have been sold off cheap to the San Diego rest home. we have never seen so many walkers, wheelchairs or mobility scooters. Yes, I know we all get there at some stage but ...

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Carnival Miracle

User Avatar

Hawaii was the final state for us to visit. We signed up for this cruise on a previous Carnival cruise and got $250 on board credit, plus $250 for being a stockholder! The 4 sea days going to Hawaii did not seem as long as the 4 sea days coming back. This was a 15 day cruise, so we were starting to get "cruised out" and our last stop was Ensenada before returning to Long Beach. The Miracle is well ...

Perfect way to see Hawaii! Would go again 100% The staff were friendly, helpful and made time on board so much fun! Perfect amount of nights, beautiful weather and no rough seas :) Great entertainment on board, kids and adults both catered for. Food was great, all meals had something for everyone. Pools were amazing! Service was great, everything you needed was catered for. Cabins were ...

We have cruised many times and several of those with NCL. The service has been mostly good and the experiences enough to keep us coming back. However, this last cruise, Jan. 2017, on the Pride of America was not nice at all. The crew doesn't seem to be as nice as the other ships. They seem indifferent and even upset that the passengers are there. There are a couple exceptions in the beverage ...

Great multi-island adventure

We choose this 7 day cruise and a pre-cruise stay on Oahu as a college graduation trip for our two soon to be graduates. Winter break turned out to be the best fit and travel is a bit more affordable and less crowded after the holidays so that is how we arrived at our travel date. Embarkation was a breeze; after arriving around 1 pm. We had booked the family suite with large balcony on the aft ...

Ship beyond its "Best Before" date.

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Westerdam

My wife and I (a senior couple) chose a back-to-back on the Westerdam in January to Mexico and Hawaii to try to get away from the cold, wind, and rain of a Victoria January. We had sailed once before with the line, on the old "Noordam" in 2003. That trip had been a disaster - the ship was long after its "Best Before" date (and was retired within a year). We had been promised an early dinner ...
