We originally chose this cruise in 2019, booked, paid and all, and then the pandemic came and all was cancelled. We took the offered future credit incentive. Back then no-one knew what would happen. Being from New Zealand we also faced government obstruction and closed airline travel, but now finally we were able to re-book this cruise. Despite initial reluctance from NCL to finally honour the ...
From the very second our taxi dropped us off at the cruise port in Papeete, we were blown away at the services. Friendly greetings, clear and concise directions on how to board and a person at every turn pointing you in right direction.
Champagne greeting with the cruise host and then a little presentation and then to our room and our luggage was already there as well as a fully stocked ...
Hubbie and I booked this to celebrate our 25th anniversary. It is the best value for money to see the French Polynesian islands hands down. The crew was outstanding and the mix/ diversity of guests was wonderful. Made some life long friendships in just 7 days. Loved the semi-casual nature of the ship, the itinerary, excursion options, entertainment and food on the private motus and of course the ...
July 15, 2023 sailing from Papeete to Marquesas, on deck 9 starboard in Superior Deluxe room: great. Breakfast buffet, 12 or 12:30 lunch, 7 or 7:30pm dinner. 97 passengers (very much less than capacity) about 65% French speaking and 35% English/Deutch.

Food was wonderful, fixed menus but well prepared and interesting. Red or white wine at lunch/dinner, and changes from one to ...
I had researched this cruise for 3 years and I knew the ship was 25 years old this year so we expected an older ship. However, upon arrival, we were greeted with the kindest smiles and a beautiful ship that was recently remodeled. We stayed on Deck 4 with a window view, which was perfect for us as we were hardly ever in the room. We spent lots of time by the pool. We went directly to the spa and ...
We have just completed 7 nights in the Society Islands Tahiti (June 2023). We had a fantastic time . Staff, food and cabins were all better then expected. Comfortable beds, very tasty food and excellent excursions to some awesome snorkelling and cultural destinations . We three Australians loved the laid back, friendly vibe on the yacht! Staff were awesome from the Captain to the galley staff. ...
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience of your recent 7-night cruise in Tahiti. We are delighted to hear that you had a fantastic time and that our staff, food, and cabins...
We were in a mini suite on Dolphin deck …we had water ingress through the balcony after rain but Mr Fixit came with his trolley and repairs were done asap . Well done! Our stateroom steward Romella was delightful ….our room was attended to while we were at breakfast without fail ! The bed was so comfortable as were the pillows. Lots of storage and hanging space and the bathroom was quite spacious ...
*Princess contacted us as the previous cruise had been cancelled. (BNE to BNE)
They offered BNE to Syd, we declined. The first red flag was when we were given a 'personal cruise advisor, not in Australia but the US' What?
The time zone made it impossible for us to communicate at a suitable time. Messages constantly missed, therefore had to wait for the next opportunity to speak. This ...
There were many things to recommend about the trip/ ship, but a few things you should know.
First, the good. The entertainment was pretty great. My cabin was just fine. The specialty restaurants had great food. The buffet was pretty good. The acupuncturist seemed excellent. A couple of the parties were very fun and memorable - like the one for crossing the equator - blackness all ...
Like several other reviewers, we had sailed with Oceania on 5 occasions before the "pandemic" and rebooked based on those experiences.
This is clearly a company where the dead hand of remote corporate policy wonks is at work, setting procedures and practices on the ships with absolutely no clue of what going on at the operational, customer facing level. Penny pinching ad nauseum.
This was an ...
