We never left from Basel or saw it. No communication to passengers on change, which resulted in chaos. Skipped ports with no explanation. Due to a tanker running aground, we were forced again to be bussed to a new ship, missing the scenic area & lovely promised ports. Bus ride was pure misery . That travel ,under difficult conditions took a day.
The communication or lack of was the most ...
I’ve cruised all cruise lines and MSC has to be the worst, Currently on MSC EURIBIA, My first and last time on MSC. small cabins, not enough staff onboard. Waited 40 mins to order a drink. Cabins not being cleaned, the noise in staterooms are loud, rude unfriendly bar staff. One good thing, it’s made me really appreciate Royal Caribbean. MSC have no idea how to run a cruise, they called this a ...
This ship is very old and outdated. Poor condition, rust on bathroom wall and the balcony area. The interior was old and worn out and not very appealing as it was dark and dreary. While inside the ship during the day you felt like it was nightime. the food was just average with limited places to eat lunch or breakfast. The entertainment was just so-so and limited for a long 16 day cruise. The ...
We chose this cruise because it was a great price and we loved the ports prior to the transatlantic crossing. Here are some bullet points of our disappointment:
When I entered my stateroom there was duct tape on the vent in the shower room and the toilet room.
There was lots of rust all around the ship, including our balcony.
There were ceiling tiles falling down in one of ...
So so incredibly disappointed with Oceania. Absolutely no guest/customer service. Have raised all issues with onboard team, Oceania guest relations and still no communication back. This cruise is going no where, no ports now for 9 days, even restaurants closed on some nights so no choice and tonight all specialty restaurants closed and only Grand Dining and Terrace cafe open. As to onboard ...
This cruise was a shocking disappointment to me. It was marketed as a Christmas market cruise, however, the Christmas markets were not open in all of the ports we visited!
The food was unpleasant, and I struggled to find anything that was palatable. The steak was rubbery, the lettuce was brown.
The German night dinner provided a variety of sausages and pork, most of which was cold, it was ...
This cruise was a bucket list vacation. We have many friends who have raved about the Christmas Markets in Europe. The only problem is our cruise/tour is that it began on Sunday November 26 and the first open Christmas Market was Thursday, November 30th. We missed the markets in Prague, Nuremberg, Bamberg and Wurzberg - that is 50% of what was promoted for our cruise. There were other mishaps ...
1. Bed is old and small, size like a car seat.
2. The food is terrible in the first three days, a lot of leave off. They cook the leftovers for lunch. Lol
3. A few days need to wake up at 4am, because they request to put the luggage out at 5:30am. Crazy!!!
4. Excursion (included), everyday is church and Christmas markets. Sometimes church is small, Christmas markets is small like only 5 ...
NCL HORROR STORY
Choose any other cruise line than NCL, what you think you are saving you will pay in disappointment. I booked a mid-east cruise in Aug.‘23 and was a prisoner on-board NCL Norwegian Dawn for 10 days after they cancelled five of eight featured/ advertised ports because of war (understandable) and because four Arab ports barred American ship entry (according to ship grape-vine). ...
NCL Dawn Cruise from Istanbul to Dubai Nov 24 to Dec 13
The cruise changed a number of times. This was explained as a result of the conflict in Palestine. However, stops in Egypt were removed with others added. Sea days were also added. A credit of $200 for the stateroom was provided for the entire trip. No explanation of the compensation for the missed ports, additional sea days, and reduction ...
