Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Joy

This was our 2nd time on the Joy the first time in Haven this time balcony plus. Which is bigger bathroom. Overall the ship was clean after the 3 week drydock. Due to weather and rough seas we spent most of our time inside. The activities were very limited and usually basic bean bag toss, language lessons and trivia in the atrium. Then there were the usual art, bingo, and other extra charge games. ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Ventura

We choose Ventura for the ports of call. Alas, three were cancelled but the ports we did call at were in the main okay during our 35 night sailing. Never again on Ventura, the food was of poor quality, the service, hit and miss, the entertainment average, I don't think anyone would watch the acts if they appeared at venues other than on a cruise. The cabins, managed to a Travel Lodge standard, ...

No idea how this ship is rated any higher than 2 stars

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Ventura

I travelled on P&O for first time and selected the ship Ventura. This was my first mistake, the ship has no wow factor like I've experienced with other brands. My biggest mistake was choosing P&O as their staff in Bars and Restaurants simply don't seem to care. 1) ordered wine with dinner, it turned up whilst I was eating my desert. 2) I asked to order a drink at a bar. It Was ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Iona

Have sailed on Iona quite a few times and it’s got worse every time. With all the cabins on board, only 1 suite is disabled accessible, none of the conservatory mini suites are accessible and most of the balcony cabins have a pillar in the cabin which hinders movement of wheelchairs. None of the inside cabins are fully accessible. None of the pools are accessible unless you want to be hoisted ...

Would not recommend this ship Caught Novovirus I know of 3 others but heard there was lots more but no official word about it . 3 people airlifted off ship Cabin on 17th floor a nightmare below sunbathing deck and late at night early morning moving chairs about to clean deck . Wardrobes and bed creaking and opening on there own and ship swayed badly maybe due to be so high up . ...

Tired and Old

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on Azura

The value of the cruise was good but once onboard the experience is not great. The ship is tired and old , really needs a modern update. MY cabin was in need of updating and cabin staff just seem stressed and miserable. We were allocated a great table at The Oriental but no Sommelier so the poor waiting staff are stressed out trying to get the hot food and cope with taking drinks orders which is ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Spirit of Adventure

We wanted some winter sun and friends had recommended Saga. We had never sailed with them before but do prefer smaller ships to the large monstrosities that the 5-6,000 passengers. Very good journey to Portsmouth and very smooth embarcation, our cabin was ready when we boarded. The cabin was very clean and the bathroom adequate the only negative was the lack of room in front of the wardrobe. The ...

Great staff, ambiance not good

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Seven Seas Explorer

User Avatar

All staff were very friendly. What is not good? Almost zero outdoor, pool deck activity! Only once every two weeks some food or live music on the pool deck. No music anywhere when the show is on. Some harbors bad stops such as in Java. Excursion some ok, some just hours of bus drives. Worst: Horrible wifi! If you are not retired and need to work some online: Do not use Regent! They advertise ...

Not ideal for US guests and not a fair exchange for the Arosa Mia

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Flora

User Avatar

I chose this cruise to explore river cruise offerings. I have river cruised with AMA which was very good in all areas - food, cabins, evening activity, beverage offering. I have stayed in an Arosa hotel in Sylt which was very good and thought the river cruise would be similar. I ocean cruise with Azamara, Celebrity, Oceania, and the German Hapag lloyd MS Europa 2 so this review is not about German ...
