One must accept the premise that this is a smaller ship. Everything is scaled down. But it has some incredible offerings that other lines don't have.

The ship is new. We got a Norovirus alert the day before we got on. Yes hard to believe a new ship with Norovirus. The crew was diligent and worked hard so that by the time we completed the 14 day cruise everything was back to normal. Nonetheless it still prevented us from doing the galley tour as part of the Chef's Table.

My first cruise ever. Super clean ship, nice staff. Food was never hot, and as a buffet goes had the buffet fixings. Nothing dazzling about the food. All tasted good, but was average. Ran out of English breakfast tea 3 days before cruise ended.

We wanted to visit Dubai. The ship. The crew. The food. The entertainment all very good. It he itinerary had Beeb changed about a week before departure and we were not notified.we would finish in Oman. Then on our penultimate day travel by free bus to Dubai.

Over 100 years ago, 16 year old Emilio Schiavone left Italy with little more than the clothes on his back. In 2019 his grandson returned with the clothes on his back*. Air Canada lost his luggage for 5 days. But Viking graciously gave me a ship board allowance, even though it was not responsible.
