Passing our local TUI travel agency we noticed a "Manager's special" for this cruise and enquired within. The dates coincided perfectly with the half term school holiday, an inset day, and our daughter's leave week. In addition the second day of the cruise was our granddaughter's birthday and this would be her first flight on an airplane though not her first cruise. The price offered made it a no ...
Ok, first the good. The food is pretty reasonable. We eat at speciality restaurants , the buffet and the three included restaurants. Manhattan room restaurant was a bitt too big and noisy for us but the others were very nice. The restaurant staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food good. The speciality restaurants were great and $25 extra for Lobster seemed fair. There were garlic ...
Resilient Lady is exceptional.
The food is outstanding . Truly.
The decor is amazing as are the acoustics.
The crew were the most amazing I’ve ever encountered. A selection of the worlds brightest and best hospitality stars.
Entertainment was varied and even if you didn’t enjoy because it wasn’t your style, you couldn’t fault the quality and diversity.
The age profile ( average age ...
Cruising from Athens to Dubai, on Resilient Lady.
Excellent staff members and crew. Could not falter, all very busy and seem so happy and content with their positions.
The service desk personnel on deck 5 seem to be always busy with passengers queries.
Wi Fi is OK, but basic Wi Fi seems to drop out a fair bit.
The App is OK and very good for younger generation and those with internet ...
This was a different cruise to the norm. It was a new way of cruising. I must say we had a great time. Some of the ports we stopped at, we did not have enough time to explore fully. There were a few issues with port authorities, which slowed down disembarking. (Virgin always blamed the country) There was a lack of communication to the passengers. The virgin app had its problems and the did not ...
We chose this cruise because it was a very good price, had some ports we had not previously visited and was a great way for us to end our six months in Europe. Let’s face it, anything beats a long haul flight, home! We are both 60, active and avid travellers, sometime cruisers. I have low vision and limited hearing (but I play a mean pinball).
So why a McCafe at sea? - I love my McCafe, I ...
We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We have not cruised on Oceania before, but got the brochure and it had places we wanted to go. This was our first post -covid cruise.
We had bought our cruise just before the Simply More promotions- so wine was not included.
Overall, it was a very nice ship-we had a few issues with the trim in our cabin popping off and problems with the sliding ...
This was an enjoyable cruise and excellent itinerary but one or two things stop me from giving it a five * rating.
The Good:
1. Food was generally of a very high standard (with one exception detailed below)
2. Staff are as friendly and jovial as ever
3. Cabin was comfortable, if a little rough around the edges.
4. All ports of call were enjoyable: Koper, Trieste, Dubrovnik and ...
We anticipated this cruise that was years in the planning. It was postponed several times due to Covid . Finally, on the fourth attempt at booking this "bucket list" travel event, we succeeded in getting aboard what was touted as an upscale ship rated a 10 for its culinary excellence. Indeed, when we entered our cabin, we were struck by its elegance and cleanliness.
The Regents was a ...
I had an aft-facing balcony on D12 and my nephew was in another cabin close by.
First and foremost, we had a fabulous time. The ship is weirdly designed, with inadequate public space. Walkways are too narrow, always felt like you were climbing over people. On pool deck, it was very congested trying to walk along dodging stage, audience, pool, bar, and very tight rows of loungers. I ...
