We have sailed with marella about 8 times now but never again! If you could give a minus score we would have done! It did not get off to a good start when the plane we were due to fly on to corfu missed the runway at leed/bradford causing absolute chaos. We were eventually transferred to manchester and flew from there arriving in the early hours of the morning.

This was suppose to be a celebration trip for us but it was anything but that. After turkish air lost my wife luggage we boarded the ship without hers. Dealing with guest services to retrieve the bag after it showed up in instanbul was a joke to say the least. We are long time NCL cruisers and were excited to try the Viva. We had one mid ship balcony and one Haven penthouse. Long story short the ship feels very cramped.
The buffet is tiny and was full everytime we tried to get in. Indulge was full every time we tried to get in as well.

Too many overweight and ill mannered seniors on board (although there were quality passengers also).
Too few comfortable seats in desirable areas unless constantly harrassed by (very polite) waiters to buy drink after drink.
