Based on our preferred itinerary we were advised to go with NCL and we were not left disappointed - there is very little we could fault with this. Quality of cabin, food, drink and entertainment were excellent though not sure of levels of expectations though as not been on a cruise before.
The level of service from all on NCR was the best I have ever encountered, working through tough COVID ...
My wife and I recently completed our first Viking Ocean cruise onboard Jupiter for the Mediterranean Odyssey Itinerary. This was my first ocean cruise after having previously completed (and loving) 2 Viking River cruises. We choose Viking primarily for the destination-focused experience and this cruise did not disappoint.
We had no significant pre-cruise issues. We navigated the COVID-related ...
The room accommodations, service, food, staff are the best. We felt like we were royalty.
We highly recommend the Viking Cruise Lines. Everyone affiliated with Viking go well "ABOVE AND BEYOND" to make sure all our wants and needs are met.
When we went on our excursion, the guides were extremely helpful and able to explain the area to us. They were open and receptive to any and all of our ...
Going on a cruise was a compromise between my husband and me -- he wanted to be able to unpack for a week and not move around, but I wanted to see as many places as possible. Now we are diehard cruise fans!
The Norwegian Jade was a fantastic ship -- perfect size with super friendly staff and a fun but not overwhelming amount of activities and entertainment. And the ports were the perfect ...
we have been avid silver seas fans. unfortunately on our last cruise, they dropped the ball in so many ways. we had been on seabourn exactly twelve years ago to the week, that was on the odyssey. we decided to give seabourn another try. we were thrilled with the experience. cruising in the time of covid requires a tremendous amount of nerve and patience. we had to have pcr's test, then a nasal ...
Like many avid cruisers, we had several much anticipated cruises cancelled during the pandemic that shut down much of the world in 2020 and 2021. Our cruise, Iberia to Italia, was one of the first aboard Marina, the first of Oceania's ships to return to service post-pandemic. Prior to providing details of our experience it's important to note that there were still a great many COVID restrictions ...
Our first cruise ever. Picked this because of the cost and route. Once on board, the ship is beautiful. Spotlessly clean. The service and staff are so friendly. The standard staterooms are slightly small. The balcony was good. We were on the 8.30pm meal time and you get your table for the whole cruise. This is nice as you get the same staff looking after you for each meal. The meals are so good. ...
Taking a Viking cruise is soooo much easier than doing all the work on your own. Plus, the ship, the food, accomodations and staff are all wonderful! I would like to say that our food on the cruise was impressive and beautifully plated. Wine and beer were always available to us as well. I want to go back to Greece and stay there for an extended visit or maybe just live there. I loved this ...
First off, we had a fantastic cruise that at times was covid silly, but at the end of the cruise 100% of passengers and cruise guests tested negative. Masks worn at all times when moving about, but not eating or drinking.
Getting to Athens and through civic test at the pier had its challenges, but relax you are on vacation, just follow the rules and paperwork. We civic tested before we left ...
The 930-passenger ship is a perfect size for me. The penthouse veranda was nicely appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The ship has a couple specialty restaurants that were excellent. The main restaurant was also very good with a wide variety of specialties served throughout the cruise. We purchased the drinks package, which was very worthwhile for us as we typically have a drink or two ...
