Just returned back in Melbourne, Australia after a month in Europe. After a week in Paris...yum...and 4 days in stunning Venice...we excitedly joined the Spirit for a Mediterranean cruise. The air conditioning in rooms 1124 and 1126 does not work properly. After number complaints it could not be fixed. I did get 400 credit for each room. As a wheel chair user I found the staff ignorant of my needs, there seemed to have been no training re mobility passengers. From getting into arrivals at Venice to departures at Venice 10 days later it was a shambles. We have cruised with Celebrity before on the Eclipse and the Silhouette and so had no hesitation in booking again this time on the Constellation. What a mistake! The staff to guest ratio is so low that the service was very poor. Should be called the Carnival Waiting, because all we seemed to do was wait for everything on the ship. Not enough elevators for the size and capacity of the ship - embarkations and disembarkations were a nightmare at every port.
