We chose this cruise for the itinerary. (Venice, Greece, Dubrovnik)
We have qa previously cruised on MSC Splendida and MSC Preziosa and were very impressed with both of them.
The Lirica, however, was very disappointing. The ship itself was beautiful, clean and bright. The food was, at best, lukewarm, but often cold. The only things that were always hot was the coffee and the soup!
The ...
We have been on many cruises and several cruise lines. Celebrity is our most common thise days but we wanted to be on a Queen and the opportunity presented itself.
Cruise was dressier than we usually go, but we were prepared. We had formal and costume ware, although we were not particularly taken with the balls. If you like to dance, you'll quite like all of that. We did enjoy the ...
This was a celebratory trip for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We did a portion of our honeymoon on Queen Victoria, and loved it.
Stateroom: We were in 5089 Princess Grill. The room was just large enough and comfortable for two of us. The closet was spacious, but a tad dark on the floor. Found our shoes always messy. Wish we could have found a better way to store about 12 pairs. The ...
THE best parts of this seven day Geek island cruise, the wonderful food and the great staff in the Dinning room. A special thanks from our family to Natalie the English guest representitive, she went above and beyond her duties to help us.
Cabin staff were uninvolved with us , unlike other cruises we have been on. We had an incident were one of our party was locked out of her cabin and after ...
Because we wanted to cruise around the Mediterrean and visit certain countries. The special deal was a very good offer. This was our second cruise through Princess line and really enjoyed our first so this was how we came to our decision. We opted for a balcony stateroom this time and to wake up with a different view in the morning was great. The process of embarkation was smooth and staff ...
The staff and crew were wonderful. The entertainment might have been good but we don't know since we never got to see anything because the theatre wasn't large enough. We never had a problem the previous year when we sailed with Princess to Alaska but that theater was bigger than this one. The food was good and we enjoyed most everything except the appallingly horrible suite. Read below for more ...
This was our fifth cruise, but our first with MSC. It was also our first cruise to the Mediterranean. Our time on the MSC Poesia (sailing out of Venice, Italy) was a different experience than we've had with U.S. based cruises. Much of the difference was due to this ship having six official languages. Most activities and entertainment were limited to those that required little verbal interaction ...
Ultra-luxury ship: Well, I don't know about that. It seemed a little bland. The decor is beige on beige for the most part.
Cabin: Bed is extremely comfortable. Pillows are comfortable. Bathroom is well-appointed. Balcony over the sea is smallish (two people only) but nice. Small love-seat. TV's are in the mirrors, which is fine unless there is a reflection because you would like to ...
We decided to review our cruise as we truly appreciate others doing so. Thank you all.
We chose this cruise for its itinerary not realizing this S class ship would be so wonderful. Booked a VIP tour with our travel agent Alberto at Online Vacation Center that included pre night hotel in Rome, air and transfers. Made it so easy and loved having few days in Rome again.
Our journey on the ...
My first cruise on Celebrity was a wonderful, luxurious experience. The ship was beautiful and clean. The crew was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and plentiful. There were many activities available on the ship.
I booked the Rome port transportation with Celebrity. I arrived 1 day early and stayed at the Rome airport Hilton. I had planned to walk back to the airport arrival ...
