First time cruising on Norwegian. I booked primarily for the itinerary. I also liked the idea of a smaller ship. All in all, the ship was nice. Hassle free checkin; with the exception of no staff members in Venice when entering the cruise terminal. Passengers were dragging their suitcases all over looking for guidance. This is a good ship if you are either looking for or a budget cruise or a first time cruise. If you are a regular traveller on cruises then to be honest I think you will be a bit disappointed. We chose this ship as we wanted a Mediterranean cruise in a club class cabin#D417 less expensive than offered by Regent Seven Seas. The ship was very modern with a decent size cabin and very good bed linen and balcony . Our cabin steward was excellent and he provided canapes every day but there was little choice.
