We were a little hesitant about our first cruise post pandemic, wondering how much might be altered and if there would be a lot of up-selling to recoup lost revenue during covid. We needn’t have worried.
From the moment we stepped on board, we were continuously warmly welcomed and nothing was too much for the staff. You really do feel great morale with the staff - relaxed, happy, chatty, keen ...
The following reviews were sent to NCL Customer Relations for Our May 21-31 NCL Norwegian Escape Mediterranean Cruise and shared here; vis-a-vis,
Noisy Stateroom - Please understand that we live in Seattle, WA and our flight time to arrive into Rome & onward to our boarding port of Civitavecchia is almost 20+ hours including transit and ground travel, hence we did not have any sleep the evening ...
We chose this cruise because we wanted to return to Italy with a pre-extension in Tuscany. It cruised from Venice to Barcelona and had many wonderful shore excursions. The food and attention from the Viking staff was amazing. We also enjoyed the free spa experience using it whenever we could. The no extra cost specialty dining was very nice. We were able to eat at Manfredi’s, the Italian ...
Bitterly disappointed. Encouraged by my travel agent to choose this cruise line, I am bitterly disappointed in the “new “ Onward. Spiffed up a little but definitely not as new as advertised. Many doors and walls in need of paint, our toilet is old and shockingly stained, stateroom could be much cleaner. Our cabin actually has a desk door hanging nearly off its hinges. I think they only spent ...
This is my 4th voyage on the Celebrity EDGE, and first since 2019. I am a real fan of the EDGE class ships, and Celebrity Cruises in general.
Celebrity have created an incredibly comfortable class of ship, with a design and space that just works for the passengers. Having upped the game in almost every area, from an incredibly large pool, to a modern technically effective, yet stunning ...
We wanted to try a Mediterranean cruise after having a wonderful river cruise with Viking on the Danube in 2015. We originally had this trip scheduled for May of 2020, but we all know what happened to those plans.
The ports of call on this trip in Italy, Croatia, Monaco, France and Spain were all interesting to us. Our only wish is that we had more time in each port to explore more. We ...
We wanted to try a Viking ocean cruise and this one gave us the mix of time aboard and in cities and towns along the Adriatic and Mediterranean as well as extensions in Tuscany and Barcelona. And then Viking offered to fly us to Paris and then home so we could spend an additional week in Paris on our own. We started with several days in Tuscany at the beautiful Villa Il Poggiale, an estate tucked ...
My wife and I decided that we wanted to take a Med Cruise years ago and had booked a sailing with NCL in May 2020. Obviously, that was cancelled and we were forced to reschedule several times until this sailing took place.
We booked a Spa Suite in the Haven and we very happy with the room and the Haven staff. The concierge, David, was extremely helpful and the bartenders at the lounge are ...
Just spent a most enjoyable cruise on this fabulous ship. Cruising up the Adriatic Sea from Dubrovnik to Venice.
Being a small ship with only 100 passengers she can sail right up close to town centers and in Venice sailing up the main canal where all other large cruise liners are banned.
The ship is designed to very standards with great attention to detail, and extensive use of polished ...
We had booked the Greek Isles for October 2020, but Covid intervened, and the cruise was cancelled. We rebooked for May 2022, and all was a go. Embarkation was very easy because we had Covid tests before travelling to Rome. Better to have the test and not need it than the reverse. The ship was only 40% full because NCL is gradually ramping up, but their entire fleet is now sailing. The ship ...
