We were interested in a cruise to Cuba at a time we could go at a reasonable price. It was our first Viking cruise and we booked it over a year ahead, paying the entire cost at booking. We love the longer (11 days) cruise. The Gem is a smaller ship which we prefer. The crew was a wonderful group of hard working folks.
