Review for a Cuba Cruise on Norwegian Sky

We booked our Cruise through Costco. We SPECIFICALLY chose this itinerary as it had 1 full day in Havana Cuba and was supposed to have the 2nd day in Havana Cuba until 2 PM. We double and triple checked time in Cuba. After a while, I noticed on the website that it was then only showing 1 day in Havana. I was given no explanation for this change other than "they had the right to change the ...

Sub-par cruise that can be greatly improved

The cruise ship is very outdated. I read that the ship was remodeled in 2013, so I thought it would be nicer. That was not the case. The Dazzles lounge on the ship smelled HORRIBLE. This section had small rotating chairs that smelled like mildew. This is the section where they had a lot of entertainment. They were spraying and cleaning the chairs every chance they got when a show wasn't going on. ...

Review for a Cuba Cruise on MSC Armonia

We cruised with this company on the MSC Armonia in September this year. Although we had noted some bad reviews about this ship, we decided to give it the benefit of doubt and have a go. WELL WHERE DO WE START. Embarkation – An absolute farce. We arrived at the port at 3:30pm after a night stay in a local hotel. We were told to leave our cases at port side but would not be allowed to board the ...

Norwegian Sun expensive cruise to Cuba

The ship just a mid side "refurbished" cruise ship had much to be desired. The cabin had the best air conditioning on any cruise that I have ever been on, the room was smaller for a balcony room than other lines. The food was awful just a repitition of the same things except with a different sauce or spice. Entertainment and activities was just mediocre. The service however was excellent and some ...

Worst Carnival Ship

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Carnival Paradise

A wee bit wordy but a lot of info. Got off the Carnival Paradise yesterday. I’ve cruised in 8-10 Carnival ships including Europe. By far, this was the worst ship. Food was pretty bad, almost embarrassing since we had 1st time cruisers in our group. Pork chops, Mahi Mahi and steak were very chewy. Took several bites before you could actually swallow. Tough to cut even with a steak knife. I ...

Sept. 5, 2018 Just returned from a cruise to Havana and Cozumel on Carnival Paradise and would like to pass along our views. Embarkation at Tampa was quick, painless and an improvement from years past. Living in the area we used Lyft for drop off and pickup at the curb. Stateroom was small with a window and stool under desk, but otherwise plain. Food quality and service has suffered ...

Could easily tell the cruise director didn't believe what she was selling. Actually saw her check her watch a few times. Rock you tonight had some of the worst singers I've ever heard - so many people walked out but we couldn't because the chairs in Stardust Lounge were so horribly placed (for all events, we also watched a movie in there) that no one could walk or sit or move comfortably. ...

Not even 3 stars level, fraud with shore excursion, German description of the beverage package completely wrong, old and for passenger number clearly too small ship (German version below / Deutsche Version weiter unten) The ship The MSC Armonia is comparatively old. The ship was built in 2001 for Festival Cruises as MS European Vision and was taken over by MSC after Festival’s ...

Norwegian Sky Cuba Cruise - Good and Bad

We chose this cruise because we have become fans of the Norwegian Line over our last several cruises and we wanted a quick visit to Cuba. This fit the bill! I would have rated this a lot higher, except for a VERY disappointing bait n switch experience that became evident on the first night of the cruise. This was advertised with the usual Free at Sea promotions. Since it is already an 'all ...

I was asked by a friend to re-visit Cuba and decided on this cruise because I wanted to visit Key West rather than go to the Bahamas. I have limited mobility and take my own scooter along but was extremely dismayed to find that the ship (even though it was recently refurbished) was not at all inviting for a scooter. It was difficult to board because of the steep incline and 4" threshold over the ...
