I chose this Cruise because I needed Four Points to achieve Platinum Status. This Cruise went to Cuba.

I did read the reviews but I choose this cruise because of it’s Cuba itinerary. Most Americans reviews don’t like MSC because it’s too European. While I find that to be the same for me, there was other negatives which were more for my experience. These negatives were the following:

short quick cruise. one day in havana, one day at sea, one day at stirrup cay. Havana was GREAT, arranged a third party tour and spent all day in Havana and night at Tropicana. We have cruise 50 plus times on various lines (Carnival, RC, Princess, Cunard, Celebrity, Costa) and this will be our first on MSC.

I decided to take this cruise to see Cuba. I had already been on the Sky before it went into dry dock for a refurb. It was good to see they made some changes, and some I did not like as much.
My cabin was clean, but the shower was horrible. It went from ICE cold to BOILING hot all the time while in use.

Cuba and Key West ports from Port Canaveral. Very organized embarkation and disembarkation. Loved seeing Havana. We did our own tour witha private tour group and was very interesting and informative.
