Some things to improve on

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Norwegian Sun

Overall, it was a fun experience. One of our suitcases was delivered to another room and the passenger brought it to us. My wife was very disturbed about this. The ship is nicely remodeled and most of the staff is friendly. While standing at the counter of one bar, my brother and I waited for several minutes without either of the male bartenders acknowledging us. Even when we placed our orders, ...

Where do I begin?! I chose Norwegian based on referrals from family/friends. First of all, our room steward never introduced himself to us and our room was only about 50% cleaned when we arrived. Our refrigerator did not work and after leaving a note, telling our room steward in person and calling the front desk it took almost 3 days to get a new one, even after mentioning that we had medications ...

I wanted a short getaway and wanted to see CUBA. I did not have high expectations for NCL, but this ship changed my mind. It was all inclusive, meaning free drinks. You would think the service would be slow or lots of drunks running around. Nothing like that. The service was the best that I have had in a cruise boat and I did not see any obnoxious drunks. The restaurant, bar and cleanup ...

We wanted to visit Cuba, and this was the best cruise that fit our dates and desired itinerary. The ship is old, but that should not affect the service. Overall, I heard many complaints about the service from other passengers. We never even met our cabin attendant. Waiters overall could not care less, with very few exceptions. Bartenders were better, however we do not drink much so we could not ...

I have been a loyal carnival cruiser . This was our first experience on a Norwegian & we have been won over! Everything from dock, to sea, to port and back was organized & flawless. The attention to every Detail was beyond expectations. I’m just beyond impressed with everything! So much so, we already have further cruises now booked with Norwegian. Not to mention, open bar included on this ...

My husband and I chose this cruise as a quick getaway from our day to day and we were not disappointed! The ship was great, there was plenty to do as far as I’m board activities. It was my first time in Nassau and we had fun exploring, great stirrup cat was absolutely gorgeous! The staff both on board and on the island was wonderful! Our cruise director and all of his staff were an absolute riot ...

Strap in folks, this is going to be a long one but well worth your time if you're considering this cruise (or any cruise really). First, something you should know about me - I am the most optimistic person you will ever meet. My wife says I wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed every single day, no matter what. I can see the good in any situation whatsoever. However, by the end of my cruise ...

I had a few days off work and last minute decided to take a cruise - I did the 4 night cruise to Key West and Havana and it was delightful. It was my first time on NCL and I enjoyed the cruise and the ship was nice, small which I enjoyed as it did not attract a lot of kids and I was traveling solo and looking for relaxation. Food was great, ate in main dining room most of the time. The al-day ...

Me and my fiance' chose this cruise for several reasons. A) Cuba B) Free Style Cruising C) Open Bar. A-We have always wanted to visit Cuba just to get a different perspective of the world, so when the opportunity presented itself we embraced it. B- As for Free Style Cruising we have been on Carnival and Royal Caribbean and I don't mind sitting with strangers during dinner; if they are ...
